After extending his reach and releasing music from new artists, Blue Hour returns to the label with his highly anticipated latest solo EP ‘Devotion’. The record is, as described by the artist ‘a personal homage to my early influences in dance music, frequently visited venues or events and shared experiences with close friends’. Written throughout the summer of 2019 while isolated in nature, Blue Hour identifies a common theme and sound palette to translate these ideas across 4 tracks that explore Leftfield, Techno/Trance, Hardcore, and Ambient with UK club culture at its core.

A major thank you goes to all the artists involved for their kind gifts, the city of Brussels for their kind support and everyone else who makes this project possible. 

C12 is a multidisciplinary nightclub and platform run by the Deep in House collective, located in the heart of Brussels. It's a safe place where freedom, diversity, creativity and alternative culture are protected from the restrictive and normative outside world. The project was launched in February 2018 and includes concerts, art installations, lives, club nights and exhibitions.

The Corona crisis is keeping our doors closed and dancefloor empty for several weeks now, with no hopes yet on new line-ups and crowds of enthusiastic dancers. But this unprecedented situation isn’t holding us still. Continuing to support our local Brussels and Belgian electronic music scene, C12 is proud to announce its own label with 10 music compilations dubbed Social Distancing. All artists involved are Belgian or strongly connected to the Brussels scene. Confirmed are Le Motel, Stellar OM Source, A.Brehme, Front De Cadeaux, Davy, OCB Casa Voyager, Cabasa, Techno Thriller, Orphan Swords, Different Fountains, Bear Bones Lay Low, Gols, Hadone, ... and our residents Session 4000, Kafim & Chris Ferreira. Compilations will also be curated by female artists promoting platform ‘Psst Mlle’ and queer culture collective ‘Benediction’.  

Each edition consists of a collection of several tracks and will be released every two weeks, leading to a total of approximately fifty tracks. All music will be available to add on your favorite streaming service Soundcloud, Youtube, Spotify (coming soon) and Bandcamp. In addition for each track we offer a limited amount of 500 free downloads through our Bandcamp page, where donations are also enabled for those who wish to support us and the artists involved.

Hadone - High Speed Distress

Fresh off the back of his relentless offering on Techno Is The Devil’s Music and his Speed Bumps VA, Céilí steps up to the Lobster Theremin plate with four raucous slabs of rawness. Dark, pounding techno energy marries saccharine, euphoric trance elements; the result is heady, body music for those with a taste for the colourful-yet-pummelling sonics that are currently championed widely around the clubsphere. Following releases on TITDM, Ophism and Obscuur, plus a heap of killer sets - many at techno institution, Jaded - Céilí is carving out a space for himself with his melodic blend of pacey, ragged techno built for the small hours. 

Opener, ‘Spitting Like’ is hard-hitting yet still bright - a sound synonymous with Copenhagen and further afield - the lines become blurred with bubbling acid lines and soaring synths taking us deeper into the vortex. Next up, ‘Locked to the Leaba’ is a tougher affair - dystopian disorientation in this acid whirlpool, this one will drag you right down into the nether realm. On the B-Side the EBM inspiration crawls into view with ‘Chronic Desire (Bare Chest Mix)’, a shadowy, chunky roller - irresistible doof doof that’s crying out to move bodies in warehouses post-lockdown. Rounding out the EP with Ilian Tape-esque broken-beat deepness, erratic percussion, and wavy, hypnotic elements - ‘The Gun Bangs Last’ gives a hefty nod to that classic post millennium UK-via-Germany warehouse techno sound - this is one absolute killer! 

‘Sweating Through My Teeth’ drops 19th June via Lobster Theremin.

Suspect Raver returns to Filth Inc. with his second hard hitting EP - Sydney, named after the roof raising, synth driven anthem which pays homage to two of the local nightclubs.

He then takes on the trance realm with Tranceporter, with the bassline's changes in frequency and resonance leading the listener on a laser light compatible journey.

Lie Low sees a change in rhythm, with the breakbeat tunes galactic synths molding with the unmistakable Opus III sample to deliver a delightful foil to the four on the floor rhythm of its fellow tracks.

Finally, Oxford St closes the album with another trance track, this one evoking the pleasures many generations of Sydney clubbers have felt along the playground that is known as Oxford St.
