Under the new moniker ‘Symetri’ HLLW excitingly presents Cafe del Amar, an album inspired by the iconic sunsets and notorious clublife of Ibiza. The EP, as suggested by its playful title, journeys from cold shores of Amager, to the infamous heat of Café del Mar in four unique tracks. As echoes from the Mediterranean Sea, the sound flows effortlessly between pulsing basslines & ethereal soundscapes, a free fall into the waves under a bright sun.

It’s stacked with club-ready bangers and euphoric anthems from the Weaver family and friends. This release isn't just a showcase of talent; it's a celebration of the collective spirit that drives underground music forward.

Expect bass-driven breaks from Ekzander, Sniper1, Monfreaq and Subsism, as well as Wretla’s euphoria-inducing garage. Pacey tech from Simrana and AWHM, with DJ Huntsman taking the hypnotic tip. BADEO, Basscamp, suki, Jeku and Anderson keep the flow grooving with their prog house and minimal percussion, while Desire, Lex, Cybernet and Azo provide the high energy peak-time delicacies.

50% of profits from the release will be split evenly between Pay The Rent (Australia) and the MA’AN Development Centre (Gaza).

Arriving on a limited 200-copy translucent orange vinyl, 'Dark REM' on Cuddling Monsters’ second release on Mask Records is a hunched-over and direct dub techno cut with forceful drums and deft percussion, adding texture next to warm, sustained pads. There's a real sense of urgency in this most frictionless groove, which means it cannot fail to cast a spell on the dance floor. The fantastic 'Event Horizon' is then infused with the aura of deep space - sustained chords with a cosmic edge add vast scale to the well-programmed deep techno drums. 'Monster Talk' is a mid-tempo dub track with underlapping drums and rattling, rusted chords that disappear to infinity. It's cavernous and evocative, with myriad little details occupying the mind. 'Temporal Aura' is another standout sound that blends deep techno, dub, and minimal into a serene soundtrack that encourages inward reflection while driving onwards through the cosmos. Mask Records founder ZentaSkai and his creative partner Laura Merino Allue are Berlin mainstays helping shape the underground. Cuddling Monsters is a new project that debuted on the label in March. It is all about crafting music with analogue instruments, which they believe "offer distinctive sonic qualities, creative constraints, and genuine sound reproduction”. They explore Detroit-infused house, dub techno and minimal soundscapes with raw edges and a great sense of atmosphere.

Beneath the forest floor, a whispering mist awakens - creeping along rivers, drifting over lakes, and settling into the darkened swamps as dusk dissolves into night. In this haunting Nordic dystopia, Nocturne takes shape, revealing RunaRift’s second 6-track EP.

Experimenting extensively with field-recorded textures from nature, weaving them into driving psychedelic and progressive structures, Nocturne explores new hypnotic and trancy territories.

NEW LAND (Acid Underground Remix)

It was somehow inevitable that long time friends Klasse Wrecks and Pelvis would come together and release a joint venture, the UK/Hong Kong based record label and Australian multi-disciplinary fashion/music/design-house had been orbiting each other for years with similar styles and taste (see Luca Lozano’s ‘King Blade EP’ as proof). It only took the well timed and serendipitous sending of demos from mutual friend Roza Terenzi to seal the deal and concept of the split release and thus KWXPR001 was born. The 4 tracker is typical of both labels direction and even more so the signature style of Terenzi’s bleepy and sharp-as-a-knife productions. The two original tracks ‘Metal Glo’ and ‘Allstarz’ are representative of Roza’s mutant production style, taking in electro, breaks and futuristic atmospheres and show off the flair and confidence of the rising star from Perth.
