The themes Chrome Corpse evokes pertain to body horror, futuristic war, surrounding with constant feeling of tension and movement which is often martial and violent. Taking inspiration from foreign cyberpunk films and harsh militaristic aesthetics, their goal is to make cold minimal old school EBM with lots of cybernetic muscle and experimentalism.

The Harvest of Sorrow – Chapter II

German act, The Harvest of Sorrow provides us a track with its focus on providing an edge of haunting industrialism along with broken rhythm. 

Idlestates is a project from Ethan Anderson and Vladimir Toumantsev which launched as a podcast series in 2019. Based in Scotland they look to bring a new element to the already potent Scottish electronic music scene with a string of cassette releases in 2020. Their first compilation features the artists; Nghtly, Bad Faith Actor, Harvest of Sorrow, Ludgate Squatter, Black Dahlia, ZAAK, JGB, Swaerm, Puck and Maniaque Nocturne.

The 10 Artists VA moves through Electro-EBM spectrum focusing its sound in a realm of harsh, industrialism and post punk elements.

FR: Nocturnal Frequencies (@nocturnal-frequencies-2016) revient avec un nouvel E.P sur leur White Serie. C'est l'Italien Eloim (@eloimmusic), que l'on avait pu découvrir sur le le deuxième V.A de cette white serie qui revient avec un nouvel E.P. Avec la track Drama, on embarque pour un voyage à la fois voluptueux et angoissant, lumineux et sombre. Une track pleine de contrastes à l'image de l'E.P, sorte d'âme torturée qui erre pour trouver son éternelle quiétude. Dans la lignée esthétique des grands noms de la techno atmosphérique italienne tels que Donato Dozzy (@donato-dozzy), Dino Sabatini (@dino-sabatini), ou Giorgio Gigli (@giorgiogigli) et inspiré par les atmosphères enveloppantes du décor cyberpunk de Blade Runner, Drama s’écoute comme une pièce sonore empreinte d’un espoir virginal.

EN: Nocturnal Frequencies (@nocturnal-frequencies-2016) comes back with a new E.P on their White Serie. It's the Italian, Eloim (@eloimmusic), that we had the chance to discover on the second V.A of this white serie, who comes back with a new E.P. With the track "Drama", we undertake a journey at once voluptuous and dreading, luminous and dark. A track full of contrasts like the E.P, a sort of troubled soul wandering to find its eternal quietude. Composed according to the lineage of atmospheric Italian techno such as Donato Dozzy (@donato-dozzy), Dino Sabatini (@dino-sabatini), or Giorgio Gigli (@giorgiogigli) and inspired by silky atmospheres of the cyber punk environment of Blade Runner, Drama has to be listened to like a sound piece imprinted with a virginal hope.
