Maura Tuffy is a multi-talented musician who has performed at national and international music festivals, both as a singer and pianist. She has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center,The National Cathedral and St. Paul’s Cathedral, London.

A Soprano, Maura began singing at age eight in both church and school choirs, and over the years has been regularly featured as a soloist. From 2009–2015 she was selected by the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) to perform with both the Eastern Region and National school honor choirs. In 2014, Maura placed first at the NJ Music Teacher's Association Young Artists vocal competition, and in 2015 she received the National High School Choral Award. As a pianist, Maura’s talent and experience spans classical and jazz genres, from Bach to Brubeck. She was a member of her school Jazz Band since, having been selected on multiple occasions by the NJ Association of Jazz Education (NJAJE) to perform with regional honors jazz ensembles. In 2015 she received the National Louis Armstrong Jazz Award.

Maura has also composed choral music, and her SATB composition, “Ubi Caritas” was published in 2014 by Colla Voce Music, LLC. She is currently attending USC's Thornton School of Music studying Vocal Arts/Opera and Choral Music, and sings with the USC Thornton Chamber Singers.
