Rauli Padding Somerjoki composed this one in 1973 and wrote the text together with Arja Tiainen.
I played it with OM-size steel string acoustic guitar. It has been recorded in an one take after several tries :).

This hymn was composed by Oscar Ahnfeld in 1872.
I played it with my new parlor -style acoustic, steel string guitar. Tone was captured with two small diagraph xy -configured condenser microphones.
I added little bit reverb afterwards because poor room acoustic.

Played with parlor -style steel string acoustic guitar.

Dschingis Khan (Comp. Ralph Siegel)

Rauno Lehtinen composed this beautiful song in 1968. In song the person is remembering one of the past summer when he/she was fall in love.
I played this with steel string parlor guitar. Sound was captured with matched pair of condenser microphones. This was first time I used FMR audio`s RNLA7239 hardware compressor helping recording process.
Only little bit of EQ and reverb has been added afterwards.

Played and recorded in an one take in my home studio with seven string electric guitar. Guitar`s tone was pre amplified with Boss GP 10 guitar processor.

Seven String Impro 11.08.2022

I modified my 7-string electric guitar to somekind of baritone guitar changing much thicker strings as normal. All of the strings are now wounded and the guitar is therefore tuned lower than normal.
There is only neck pickup and I played the guitar through Boss GP-10 via Behringer UMC404HD into the tabletop.
So, this was pure home "live" recording without any post repairs.

I played this wonderful song by Delta Blues singer/guitarist Mississippi John Hurt with my 8-string electric. It would be better performed with acoustic 8-string guitar. Hopefully, I will get it in the future.

Played with 8-string electric guitar. The guitar is tuned in perfect fourths and it was capoed the second fret. The guitar is equipped with Dimarzio 8-string bridge pickup.
I picked the strings with bare finger tips.

Winter Is Coming

This composition is an old traditional Finnish folksong. It is mostly known as a very popular christmas song.
I played it with my 8	-string Electric guitar. Middle section is pure improvisation.

This is mostly improvised guitar playing with synth´s arpeggio.

Other guitar effects: Mooer slow engine and Ebow+ sustainer.
Synth: Analog Four controlled with it´s arpeggiator.
There is also short part of attempt to play Flame Mäander synth with Arturia Keystep, hah.

Guitar is played through A4`s audio in. I used only one voice modulations to achieve pulsating backing track. So, there sre no sequences or arpeggios.

As always I played and record this in one take.  It is only shortened afterwards.

Sequencer: Arturia Beatstep Pro. (And guitarist need only right hand  controlling BSP, thanks selfmade brass fingers.)
Sequence transposing: Roland PK-5A Midi foot controller.
Mixing, pan and delay: Electron Analog Four.

Sustained guitar sound in the middle of track was achieved with EHX Superego+.

I played solo with Triple Play equipped guitar while OP-Z managed drum and bass sequencing.
Triple Play was connected into Waldorf Blofeld synth and couple of midi-pedals controlled OP-Z while playing.

I played this Christmas song with my acoustic steel string guitar. Only small amount of reverb has been added.
Composer is Hairston, not Hairstone.
