New EP from Daniel O'Sullivan on 10" vinyl and download

Máthair, a new EP from Mothlite, is OUT NOW on Kscope. Mothlite is the brainchild of Daniel O’Sullivan (Ulver, Æthenor, Miracle ,Grumbling Fur). The EP, which will be released on 10" vinyl and download, features four new tracks plus a remix of 'Seeing In The Dark', a track from last year's Dark Age album. 

Dark Age, the follow-up to 2008’s The Flax of Reverie, was rated as one of the top 50 albums of 2012 by The Quietus, who described it as, 'a startling, frank examination of the human (and perhaps especially male) condition delivered via synth bombast and towering choruses'. The NME stated; 'listening to 'Dark Age' can feel like sensory immersion... the album transcends genre, yet takes elements from the dark shadows of industrial rock and the glitch of electronica...it's a beguiling affair', while Wire noted that 'O'Sullivan is steadily carving a niche for himself as a highly accomplished avant-pop polymath.'

My musical journey starts in 1987 with a thrash metal band...then we change our music toward a crossover style in 1989 calling ourselves PRODUCERS OF ABSURDITIES...the band split up in 1991 and then i join another musical project called HUMAN CONTRAST in 1992..we were doin' crossover funk with experimental touch...this project split up in 1997...then i will do mainly improvisation units with people like HOPPY KAMIYAMA,HARPY,KIRILOLA(ex girl),XABIER IRIONDO,CHRIS IEMULO,STEFANO GIUST,IVAN PILAT,ALESSANDRO CARTOLARI,DANIELE BRUSASCHETTO,LUCA TORASSO(sandblasting),ERIKO SUZUKI,DOMINIK GAWARA and many others...then i do some works in compilations for SNOWDONIA label and an album with HOPPY KAMIYAMA called URABAMI still unpublished...now i have two projects in solo with collaborators...TRIOCTON(avantgarde metal) and THE NUNS OF TELEKINESIS(experimental dark ambient)...


TRIOCTON is a solo project done with guitar,drum loops,samples and occasionally guitar synthesizer...frequently joined by several guests over the years...
