Kalipo is Jakob Häglsperger, a Bavarian born producer who has made a name for himself as a producer for Marcus Wiebusch, Ira Atari, pandoras box and Fuck Art, Letʼs Dance. He is more widely known as a member of the German electro punk group Frittenbude for which he has produced three albums.

Midnight Community #147 w/ Kalipo - 04.04.23

I recorded this set at my last gig at the old location of the infamous @distillery-leipzig - a club close to my heart since this is one of the places where I learned how to rave. The Distillery is the oldest clubs in eastern Germany. Playing there is always so much fun for me - I love the crowd and the sound and the vibe and I was happy to get the opportunity to wave goodbye to the old location at the easter weekend. I'm looking forward to checking out the new location soon(-ish).

Spontan bin ich auf dem Sisyphos Outdoor Floor, dem schönsten Strand Berlins, zwischengelandet um meinen Federn ein Sandbad und euch einen fluffigen Daydance zu bescheren. Ein unaufgeregter Tag zum in die Sonne blinzeln und Hüftekreisen. Das Recording steigt nach etwa einer Stunde playtime ein, weil das Aufnahmegerät erst hinterher reisen musste. Die erste Stunde sowie eure Energie behalte ich ganz behutsam in meinem glücklichen Herzen. ❤️‍🔥
