And just like that 2024 is gone!! very much thanks to all of you who added my music to your life this year, I do my best to express the emotions that I feel when putting this sets together. It was an active year 2024, I was finally accepted at wicked waves and I self released about 3 albums along with many remixes for great international artist from around the globe. I hope to bring better sets with better visuals and hopefully live performances in a club near you. Digital Diamonds feature ASH ROY in this episode. Ash Roy’s two-decade career has established him as one of the most progressive and respected artists in techno. His style blends minimalism, techno, and a touch of psychedelia, elegantly tied together with percussion. Active in Germany and India’s underground scene, he’s performed hybrid sets across Europe, Australia, the USA, and Asia.  His releases on labels like Dark Face Recordings, AlpaKa Muzik, Trapez, Techgnosis, and many others showcase his deep love for minimal techno. Ash has earned recognition as MyFav India's 'Best Techno DJ' (2014), VH1 Sound Nation's 'Best Electronic DJ,' and 'Producer of the Year' at MyFav awards (2015 and 2016). His work has been featured in Mixmag, Rolling Stone, DJ Mag NL, Faze Mag, and Euphoric Mag.  Ash debuted at Netherland’s Awakenings in 2017 and returned the following year. In 2019, he performed at Esoteric Festival in Australia, kicking off a 6-show tour. He played on Turmbühne at Fusion Festival 2021 and debuted at Wurzel Festival, Germany.  In summer 2022, he performed at events like Hai In Den Mai Festival, Fusion Festival, Master of Puppets (Czech Republic), Château Perché (France), and many more.  In 2013, Ash launched Soupherb Records, now India’s top minimal techno label, with over 130 releases from global artists.

Hey my friends I am sorry I took so long with this upload, as some of you all might know this year has been really tough on the mental side so I decided to take some time off back in my home town in Mexico. I had some really relaxing time and some nice adventures and plenty of fun and what not so thanks to this I was able to push away so many clouds on my mind. I am back in Texas on my usual routine back to work and also back to making music and recording this Dj sets. I hope I was able to transfer some of the energy I obtained from my getaway to Mexico with this mix. Please relax and enjoy the set made with much love and passion

FUN FACT: I would go out to the balcony of my hotel room to enjoy the view and put together the setlist for this set, the town where I was located at "villa corona Guadalajara"  would lose power due to the storms near by. one of the nights while I was playing some of the tracks the whole power of the entire town went off but it would try to come back making a strobe light kind of effect while listening to the tracks so there I was at the middle of the night using this scenario to fuel my creativity into creating this set  lol this was definitely felt and put into this mix. ENJOY !!! MUCH LOVE MAURO SEE YOU SOOON......

My music journey began when I was 8 years old playing drums. Over time I have learned to play many instruments and have been on rock/metal bands. I enjoyed playing guitar the most but I always felt I loved composing and writing music the most. I started clubbing when I turned 21, all sorts of music were played at the clubs but techno was the one that hooked me. I began to Dj and play in small private parties for my friends and then I focused on learning the recording and production side of things about music. 

I love the harder hits and the massive atmospheres in a track , that is what i offer as a Dj . Djing influences come from djs and producers like : Comet , Artcøre techno, Luix spectrum, klaudia gawlas, Amelie lens , DVS, Boris brechja, and most importantly highly Motivated by the Underground dark techno made in Germany!
