Syntex

Music has fascinated me all my life.When i was 8 years old, i began to play the keyboard.At the age of 12 i learn to play the drums and guitar and e-guitar. With 14 years i started to interest me in electronic-music. At the beginning i sat in my brothers room and listened to his music. When i was 15 i came in contact with a record player for the first time. Then i was infected... With 16 i buyed my first own record players an began to play Schranz and Goa. First at private partys, then, at 2011, at a small club named Lenox. After that i went to berlin and played at my colleague Lud Lemmon, then offenburg Fsg and Offenau/Heilbronn at a private party. Then my first podcast for Kaiser BPM on FNoob.com came. More often i was there and on Cuevase-fm to hear. That was the time, when i started to produce techno on my own. Since now i produce thrilled with Fruity Loops Studio, then Ac-In Records and today for Subwoofer-Records. It still makes fun as at the beginning and no one could take this from me. Forever Techno

Getting spiced on the floor! Anybody out there not really being interested in? We don`t think so, in times of unified, exchangable music there are numerous people interested in getting something more than a "Klick" here and "Klack" there. And exactly for those of you, Alex` music is surely the right soundtrack being far away from music which sounds like it is produced by standard-software on a standard pattern, only for being more fashionable and mass-compatible. Alex Bau is the right guy, his music ranges is nothing less than high quality techno, additionally spiced with added drummings and sounds which are one more step on the way to make the mix unique and flowing. As soon as you read Alex` name on a record, cd or flyer, there is always techno inside. Maybe this appears a bit too "spicy" for the typical "minimaltechnovirgin", but the reduced tempo leaves it accessable for almost everybody being interested in high-quality electronic dancemusic. It`s always the same, no matter if minimal, harder, spacy or crazy, the right mixture is the key to a tasty menu, and how to heat up and cool down the dancefloor is something you don`t have to explain to mr. Bau. It`s served!

His style is influenced by technoide - minimal, driving beats, groovy techhouse sounds, fun elements to dirty house & funky beats.
In a genre he does not grab, it is the bandwidth is too large it plays.

Garrett Dillon

In the mid 90's, Garrett Dillon fell in love with electronic music via acts like The Prodigy, Aphex Twin, Autechre, and Underworld. In 1997 he attended his first warehouse rave in Detroit and immediately fell in love with the pounding kick drums and dark synths of techno.

Soon after, Garrett (more commonly known as Dillon) purchased his first set of Technics 1200s and a Vestax mixer. Within months he was playing gig after gig and quickly building a fanbase. Naturally, the promoting bug bit next and he organized his first event in 1998. He has since promoted nearly 50 underground events in and around Detroit.

In the early 2000's Dillon teamed up with local DJ Alastair Todd to form a label focusing on the hard tribal sounds of European techno. Around this time he started to play events across North America, from Toronto to Miami. The duo also performed together as a tag team, mixing everything from funky tribal to brutal industrial, while utilizing outboard effects and loop recorders (well before simply pressing a button in Traktor automatically did these tasks for you).

After a brief break from the scene, Dillon resurfaced as a performer and promoter, throwing what many called "the best Detroit party of 2011". His performances began to bridge the gap between DJ and live performance, utilizing MIDI controllers, Maschine and a host of effects to dismantle, rebuild and recreate music on the fly. 2012 will also see the rebirth of Garrett Dillon as a producer, and the launch of his record label "Dystopian Rhythm", co-founded with Margin Walker. Several high profile names are slated to be released on the label, along with Dillon's own production.

Oxum

Oxum (aka Egun). Was born in Mexico City. At age nine, he started his interest for electronic sounds; do to the musical influence he obtained from his family and friends. Three years later he decides to formally introduce himself to the world of electronic music. At age 15, he starts to professionally play in some local parties; playing tracks from artists like, The Chemical Brothers, Seb Fontaine, Anthony Pappa, Mauro Picotto, Josh Wink, Joey Beltram and others.

Some years later he starts to have a more active participation in the electronic scene of his country, sharing stage with national artists like: Fixo, Dig-it and Sintoma and, international artists like, Alan Fitzpatrick. In 2011 he receives the invitation to participate on radio shows of United Kingdom, like “The Difference” by Stevie Wilson, Dark Frequency with Neil Birnie, Simmetrical Madness with Dexter Overclock and, others. That same year, he was invited to form part of the Fnoob Radio (UK) with a podcast; Were he had great international guests, such as: Submerge, A.Paul, Ricardo Garduno, Andres Gil, Vegim, Conrad Van Orton, Unam Zetineb, Mark Morris, and, many more.
In 2013 he is invited to form part of Techno Resistencia, which is, one of the oldest collectives in the techno scene in Mexico formed by many great talents like: Sintoma, founder of the collective, Fixon, Dig-it, Komprezzor, Ramiro Puente, Erik Yahnkovf,and, others.

Oxum is a serious project that looks to transmit the passion for techno music. He was influenced at the beginning for genders like the High Energy, Indie, Industrial and Hard House. Now he is looking to show the lineal form an obscure and sick Techno, with prolonged and crude atmospheres.

This year he works in the development of the music production. He is studying percussions and, exploring some musical instruments like the piano, analog synthesizers and, keyboard. He is looking to develop an authentic and original sound; a sound that looks to give another face to this amazing musical gender that is techno.

Shikkaria

Started Dj-ing in 1997 and for a while his good always faithfull dog was his only listener, after a long time he got the chance to play on several "underground" and also illegally organized parties in the forest (Odenwald).

Several breaks by work and studies forced him to stop active Dj-ing, but never forgot his love to do it.

After wining a Dj-Contest in Karlsruhe he got resident for 2 years in the "UV-Club" in Karlsruhe and was playing there on a floor all night long, once a week.

Studies got more and more important, so another "break" was necessary.

Now everything is done, so back to fun =)

First contact with techno he had in the late 90s as a child coming back from a visit of the airport frankfurt he visited with his aunt.
On the long homeway the famous HR3 Clubnight was playing on the radio, and he was fascinated from this moment on, to this neverending sound with any lyrics, the first comments he heard on this music was " This is no music ".

From this moment on there was no other kind of music for him.
For a long time he was unable to find that sound again.
It was the time of 2Unlimited and "Calling Mr. Vain" =) and the time when MTV still was playing music.

The older he got, the more of this weird music he found, and the will to be part of this got concrete.

First club he ever visited was the MSConnexion in Mannheim, this was the
point of no return.

A long search for dirty loud and f*cking crazy clubs started.
The next years were a journey through the world famous Clubs:
MSConnexion (Mannheim)
Palazzo (Bingen)
Omen --> U60311 (Frankfurt)
Airport (Würzburg)
since this time there was no way back to any kind of music without forward stomping beats.

...isten azért teremtette a zenét, hogy szavak nélkül tudjunk imádkozni..:)

1977-ben látta meg a napvilágot... általános iskolai tanulmányai után kezdett foglalkozni az iskolarádiózással. Elvarázsolta a zene furcsa világa, melyet már gyerekkorában is szeretett. Minden zenét szeretett amiben volt valami érzékiség, ütem.... Iskolai tanulmányai befejezése után, Szatmári István, ill. Varjas Zoltán keze alatt szeretett bele a diszkózás világába.... A döntő lökést viszont Dj Cuba alias Tarcsa Zoltán adta meg, aki az első szettjével a techno fura mégis szerethető világába röpítette.. Innen már nem volt megállás... Csak a techno ill. a deep, és a tech house na meg a minimal és a progressive house az ami élteti..:) A sok irigy ember, DJ, mindig alátesz, mindig olyanoktól kap negatív kritikát akik... köszönő viszonyban sincsenek a szakmával. Nem szereti a cd-t, csak ha nincs más lehetőség... Bakeliten tanulta meg mixelést. Hitvallása" a zene jó... olyan nincs, hogy rossz zene.... a zene az jó. olyan van h. neked vagy nekem az adott zene nem tetszik ... de a zene az jó mindig jóóó". Sokáig nem volt saját felszerelése sem ami miatt el sem tudott indulni a dj szakmában. Bár a technika már adott, a zenei igénytelenség miatt csak classic house, ill.a 2000-es évek techno klasszikusait játsza!!!

Sky & Shell

Techno duo Sky & Shell comes from Slovenia. Gordan L. and Boris B., both 21 years old, are two DJs who live for music. Gordan lives in Brežice (Slovenia) and studies in Ljubljana and Boris comes from Krško (Slo) and studies in Zagreb (Croatia). The one who started with mixing tunes was Boris 5 years ago. At the beginning he played house and subgenres like funky and progressive house, but very soon he became passionate for harder beats. That is why he switched to tech house and later on to minimal techno.
As he and Gordan were classmates in high school, they were hanging out a lot and Gordan became more and more interested in electronic scene. From that time on, 3 years ago, they have been playing together.
For the first two years they mostly played tech house, techno and occasionally some hard techno. But since last year their sets have been based on techno, because they visualise their future on a techno scene. Among the artists who have had the strongest influence on their creation of music are Ben Sims, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Eric Sneo, Tom Hades, Advent&Industrialiyzer, Paul.A etc.
Their mixing style is a mixture of old school and new digital era techniques. Their music could be described as driving dark hypnotic techno with old rave and industrial sounds.
S&S are very proud of their work, and especially of the fact that they have won a lot of competitions in Slovenia. B., while still playing alone, won a battle in the local club Bruno. Together they won Support your local DJ contest where around 250 DJs took part and the prize was a set on the well-known Eco festival in Slovenia. The next competition that they won was at Space Club Otočec, and finally there is also the first place from CK Shock Battle in Ljubljana which brought them a performance on the electronic stage at Ritem Mladosti with Mike Vale.
Their production is still at the very beginning, because this year, after all school obligations and other activities, they will finally have time to focus on production, so this year won’t miss their first release. In the future S&S are looking forward to more gigs, to meet new people from the scene and most importantly to keep their fans satisfied on the dance floor.

Aileman Blau

Octavio Reyna. Born in En el Paso Texas, in June 28, 1991. He began his career as a Dj at the age of 16 years old. In 2007 start his first project called Zhainy which lasted about 1 year, all for greats taste for electronic music, start to listen the genres as Techno and House. The following year he began to feel attracted to this production as he began his career as a producer, Cueing the Techno genre, taking by gender in their productions to itself after two years decided to conclude the project Zhainy and make way for new projects where we know today as "Aileman Blau" project was born April 24, 2010. Bringing the various electronic sounds, this in an effort to define their own style. "Aileman Blau" is now devoting most of his time to music production, and today shows his unique style Production varying rhythms and melodies.
