as a co-founder of the format RITE and with his very own event series INFORM at gewölbe cologne, ricardo e. aims to shape his vision of contemporary deeper club music.
moved to berlin lately, he recorded this vinyl only mix with a selection of records —from the past until today— he recently got in his new environment. his mix for our july broadcast reflects his mission to combine percussive and hypnotic parts with progressive and psychedelic elements into an endless, trippy groove that drags you deeper into the rabbit hole.

just a funky house mix in celebration of 600 followers on Soundcloud!
The mix is build like a good club night with the dancers in mind: Start out with some funky disco, get more groovy and built up the tension to a climax than cool down on the deeper and sweeter side. 20 Tracks in total: I mixed some brand new releases with a lot of older records that I bought second hand from the cheap record bins in record shops in Berlin recently. Amazing stuff from the 90s, still sounding so fresh! Fittingly I did this mix on RecordStoreDay 2015 - at home :) - using my beloved rotary mixer Omnitronic TRM 202 with the lovely master isolator and my trusty Technics 1210 of course.

The Wuppertal-based DJ duo Kiosk Force delivers a mix for us, that kicks off with UK-based sounds and gradually shifts into more electronic territories. Their selection reflects their openness to various influences.

Since their DJ debut in 2018, they’ve been a regular part of the local club scene, playing at venues like Open Ground, Tresor West, Mauke, and even the Stone Techno Festival.
