Dasha Mazur is a DJ, sound designer and digital nomad, currently based in Armenia. Hailing from Ukraine, Dasha grew up in the northwestern part of Russia, in the port city of St. Petersburg, which is also a hub for the country's electronic music scene.

Influenced by the development of the underground culture in her city from an early age, she began her journey as an artist in 2012. Raised on a steady diet of drum & bass, breakbeat, and the burgeoning techno scene, she managed to incorporate a wide range of these influences into her recent works. Her sets are characterized by a combination of atmospheric soundscapes and immersive textures, infused with the intense energy of broken industrial beats."

Transference Radio - Episode 2 [feat. Nookie Q&A]

Yes! Back with another house mix for Deep Science Radio. This is a special one, mainly due to its recording location. I recorded this at my good friend Rowin's house in Coin, Spain (andalucia), who runs a bed & breakfast there called "Casa de Los Suenos". This is also the reason why I decided to call the mix "House of Dreams" (which literally means the same thing). Rowin runs a video company called Sunlight Media and decided to help me film the set using his drone & DSLR camera equipment. Turned out pretty nice I think! What do you think? It’s been quite a while since Naibu’s last feature on Scientific. More than a year has passed since the release of his acclaimed “Case Study”, a mature and eclectic quasi-d’n’b album rich in live instrumentation and tons of intricate details. And here’s a follow-up to this work – a four-track remix EP featuring reworks by some of the biggest names in the atmospheric/deep drum & bass current of today. Naibu’s already captivating take on music gets reinterpreted in four different ways, so just know that you’ll be treated with a sense of freshness and familiarity at the same time. Spanning a variety of shades of drum & bass, from Hiddenwave’s deep and rolling take on “Turn Me Down”, through Seba’s nostalgic rework of “Astray” and Bungle’s powerful, cosmic rearrangement of “Case Study”, to Future Engineers’ heavyweight, solid-basslined reinvention of “Fighting for Attention”, the EP acts as an excellent supplement to Naibu’s original work, offering listeners even more of auditory pleasure.
