Hi there and welcome to my Dj mix. This is a mix I've recorded live during the Club SF Party in November (http://www.instagram.com/club.sf).

The whole set is basically a combination of old and new tracks that I really like. Some remixes of old tracks and some originals from the 90’s. Combinded with new fresh techno tracks and some of my own productions. This is a set I’m really proud of!

Dasha Mazur is a DJ, sound designer and digital nomad, currently based in Armenia. Hailing from Ukraine, Dasha grew up in the northwestern part of Russia, in the port city of St. Petersburg, which is also a hub for the country's electronic music scene.

Influenced by the development of the underground culture in her city from an early age, she began her journey as an artist in 2012. Raised on a steady diet of drum & bass, breakbeat, and the burgeoning techno scene, she managed to incorporate a wide range of these influences into her recent works. Her sets are characterized by a combination of atmospheric soundscapes and immersive textures, infused with the intense energy of broken industrial beats."

Hi all,

This Scientific Radio episode was recorded just a few days after the passing of one of pop music's greatest icons. What made it all the more fitting was that it actually snowed here in Amsterdam during the end of April, which is a very rare event. 
Prince was/is a legend and a true songsmith, someone who always followed his own path, even when it didn't prove te be succesful. His guitarskills were also above and beyond almost everyone else, just watch the solo he did on While my guitar gently weeps at the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame performance in 2004 to know what I'm talking about.
Required listening: Dirty Mind (1980), 1999 (1982), Purple Rain (1984) and Sign 'o the Times (1987).

OK, now for the show; this one contains a nice chilled out first hour by Vin-E, but look out for Ubik in the middle! VRG takes it up a notch during the second hour with some hefty beatwork. 
The biggest thing however, is that you'll be hearing a lot of unreleased tunes, forthcoming on Scientific Records by the likes of Bungle, Hiddenwave and Inertia. Go check it out!

A quick upload for a change...
If you like old skool, amen breaks, labels like Moving Shadow, Good Looking Records, XL, Creative Source, and ofc DJ Bobo, then you're in for a real treat!

After listening to LTJ Bukem's Logical Progression (level 1) for the first time in years, two things accured to me:

1. 90's dnb/jungle tunes are awesome!
2. I really miss the sound of those days

It got me thinking about a time when life was simple; It was 1997, I was still in high school and I had just picked up my first set of decks and was teaching myself how to mix while spending epic amounts of money on weekly trips to the local record store. Oh how I miss those times....

I got immediately inspired and started working on a DJ set dedicated to those great sounds from back then. The result is what you're probably listening to right now. 

I hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane. And for the younger headz among us; this is what the 90's sounded like, not too bad, eh? :)
