Empress, Reggae singer Hailing from West London in the UK of Ghanaian heritage. Making her debut in spring 2012 with the release of ‘Miss Africa’ on the eagerly awaited Kulcha Riddim produced by Black Kulcha Music (Mark Darlington Osei). The initial impact of this debut track has been felt across the growing Ghanaian Reggae scene as ‘Miss Africa’ has become a firm favourite with African DJ’s along with other cuts on the Riddim from established artists such as Stonebwoy, Iwan and Shatta Wale. 

Empress continues to impress, returning with ‘Tears’ on the Tears Riddim. Now under the guidance of UK based Dancehall and Afrobeats Producer Vinnie Vii. The ‘One Drop Reggae’ flavour of the Tears Riddim compliments Empress’s delivery of her personal yet social and politically inspired lyrics. Reggae music has always been her passion and this is evident in all her of her recordings to date.
