With a hectic worldwide touring schedule and the completion of their debut Flying Circus Ibiza residency @ Sankeys, studio time was scarce for the boys.  In the few weeks they had back home in Barcelona, Anthony and Luca put their heart and soul into the creation of the Excuse My Wilderness EP. A process that took over 6 months to complete. Rhythms unfold unhurriedly, melodies linger like distant memories, and introspection drifts into movement. For those who seek refuge in sound, Haven offers a place to rest. It lingers in the spaces between notes, inviting a pause, a breath, a moment to remember.
Our journey into the release of Haven begins with Hiccups, a track that carries a restless energy while remaining true to the unhurried essence of apaj’s unique sound. It is downtempo at its finest — driving yet spacious, pushing forward without urgency. A steady groove anchors the movement, while textured melodies ripple through like echoes of fleeting motion. It captures the tension between movement and stillness, the delicate balance of momentum and reflection.
