Keep up with the present or time will pass you by. Electronic music is in a constant state of development and so is IWW labelhost Maxâge. His personal artist biography urges the reader to expect big things and his newest release the D.O.C. 1988 EP clearly shows that Maxâge wants to keep this promise. Scabies and Embidi might resemble Maxâges earlier work in terms of spaced out vocals and driving midlevel basslines but Maxâge is not the guy to rest on his laurels. He has certainly risen the bar regarding complexity and level of detail whilst paying homage to the past with a hinted acid reference. Also Maxâge's everlasting love for Italy is yet again represented by long time labelfriend LEON who delivers a jackin' remix for Scabies!

2012 was definitely the year of Alex Q. Combining passion for music and incredible talent, he released not only a series of original EP's for labels like Ostwind or his own baby Kleinstadtfeeling, but also remixes for world famous artists such as Kollektiv Turmstraße on the well known „Musik gewinnt Freunde“ imprint. To finalize this years success, IWW Music is dropping Alex's masterpiece „Guten Morgen Rosengarten“. Perfectly representing his current style this piece of art contains harmony, melodiy and a thriving mixture of organic and synthetic sounds, that just makes you wanna dance! On the B-side labelheads and artists Maxage and Fabian Kranz are embodying the current sound of IWW: Oldschool beats and raw synths.

Maxâge is more than a DJ. This man is a producer, eventhost, booker and label head. We all know there are a lot of people out there who can play records. But there are few who are as good as Maxâge at it and even fewer who have the guts to build a company around their passion. At the tender age of 19, after spinning records in their basement for a while, Maxâge and his brothers in mind Fabian Kranz and Sebastian Galvani decided that half measures won't do to fit their purpose. Totally unknown to the scene they rented an off location and launched their own eventseries IWW. The immediate success paved their steady ascent to the summit of munichs electronic music scene. In 2010, Maxâge and his lot finally became resident hosts in the famous Harry Klein club. Whilst playing side by side with the first row of international high class DJ's the wish to express himself more truely grew inside Maxâge. In 2011 he amplified their eventseries by the record label IWW Music and dropped his first solo release there. EP's on Polished Audio, Urbansound and Collage Recordings followed just as international bookings in the Netherlands, Austria and Italy. Maxâge is a solid rock in the electronic music scene of munich no doubt. But knowing him you can be sure he is still far away from his peak and there is a lot to come in the future.
