Solid Grooves favourite Blackchild is the next to land on Hot Creations with the Groove Dealer EP. The three track release serves up heavy-duty club rollers, moulding Blackchild’s early influences with a contemporary flare. 

Title track Groove Dealer kicks off proceedings with a heavy sub-bass and chopy hats as melodic brass tones add the key ingredient. Siempre is next up, following suit with elevating brass notes, punchy percussion and dreamy synths. Rounding off the EP, Inmydreams is a deep and dark cut built for the late night hours, ignited by the blissful and hypnotic vocals. Blackchild reveals that "this upcoming EP on Hot Creations represents exactly what my sound is. The inspiration for these tracks come from all the old Jazz and Motown records I used to listen to growing up, with a modern Blackchild touch." 

Originally from a small island in the gulf of Naples called Ischia, Blackchild is the artist name for Italian artist Gennaro Filisdeo. Heavily influenced by his father‘s record collection, he grew up listening to Hip-Hop, RnB, Disco and old school House music. He began to produce at the age of eighteen, but it was in 2019 that Blackchild joined the Solid Grooves roster, which led him to play at statement venues and festivals such as Printworks London, Auditorium Torremolinos Malaga and ADE Festival. 2020 saw chart success with his track Sexy Thing going straight to #2 in the Beatport Top 10 Tech House Chart and #5 in the Overall Top 10 Chart. 2021 looks set to continue in the same direction with a busy release schedule on the way.

British producer Mark Jenkyns joins Hottrax with two separate collaborations alongside vocalist MIZBEE and Ecuador’s Andre Salmon titled ‘Sirens’. 

Having released on Hot Creations, Suara, Of Unsound Mind, Rebellion, Lost Records and Resonance Records, Mark Jenkyns has unquestionably established himself as one of the most sought after producers in modern day house music. As a DJ Jenkyns is a regular name on the line-ups of Paradise Ibiza, when not making appearances at the likes of The Warehouse Project, Lightbox, Digital, Egg and BPM Festival. 

Snappy snares and a meandering bassline lay the foundation for ‘Sirens’ as it continues to generate an infectious rhythm alongside MIZBEE’s scintillating vocal; luring listeners in much like the mythological creature that inspired the track title. Teaming up with Andre Salmon - who’s released on Repopulate Mars, Leftroom and Resonance - ‘Hey Honey’ is a trippy number complete with a heady groove, chopped-up vox samples and synth stabs that’s destined to inject life into any dancefloor it’s dropped.

UK talent Josh Butler has made a rapid ascension since he burst onto the scene in 2013, winning coveted awards from Beatport and DJ Mag. He now brings his production prowess to Hot Creations, delivering a club ready two-parter for his debut EP on the label.

Title track Anonymous is made for low ceiling, sweaty basements with its deep, growling bass and select vocal cuts. Doesn’t Work swiftly follows suit, delivering another dose of rolling, after-hours goodness. A mainstay in the industry, having released on labels such as Cuttin Headz, Relief and Desolat, Andrea Oliva steps up for the remix of Anonymous with an acidic bassline and lively breakdown that diffuses into a carnival of synths.

Since emerging on the scene back in 2013 with his debut Got A Feeling on MTA Records, Josh Butler has firmly established himself as a musical force to be reckoned with. Releases followed on coveted labels such as Kaoz Theory, Rejected and Cajual. In 2016, Butler also launched his own highly regarded imprint, Origins.

Jamie Jones returns to his Hottrax imprint for a various artists release entitled ‘Paradise’ including productions from Kiki, POPOF and Rafa Barrios. 

Named after his respected Ibiza party series, 'Paradise' marks the Hot Creations founder’s first original solo material on Hottrax since launching the label with 'Change' in 2013. Joining him is three more respected producers; Finland’s Kiki, who’s made recent appearances on Exploited; heavyweight Parisian techno producer and recent Mindshake and MOOD signee POPOF; as well as Spanish artist Rafa Barrios, who’s recently released on Sola and Stereo Productions. 

‘Under My Control’ sees Jamie Jones open with cowbell and video game-like effects which bounce hypnotically in and out, offset by a darker rumbling bass. Utilising a similar retro aesthetic Kiki meshes bright synths with electronic bleeps on ‘ALT/TUDE’ until you level up on POPOF’s ‘Nowhere 2 Go’, a cut driven by a groovy bassline, looping vocals and an 8-bit breakdown. Finishing up, Rafa Barrios mixes a bubbly acid melody with shuffling high hats and shimmering atmospherics to create ‘Lawless’.
