To kick things off for 2018 we welcome Bristol DJ & Producer Marco Strous to the Laevo family with his Roll On EP. 2018 looks set to be a big year for Marco with recent releases on Elrow, Blanc and Little Festival Records.

The title track, Roll On, does exactly that. A weighty, rolling bassline and crisp percussion sit underneath cool vocal chops, providing a more minimal take on the Laevo sound. Back To Basics is a clubbier number with a huge punchy bassline. A simple, catchy but highly effective dance floor hit!

Accompanying the two original cuts are two unique remixes crafted by well established artists Josh Gregg & Havana Dub. Josh Gregg, on the back of his huge releases on Glasgow Underground and Resonance Records, has provided a massive take on 'Back To Basics' with a darker, more driven groove coupled with a heavy bassline; offering a real high energy variation to the original. The Havana Dub lads have also delivered with their remix of lead track 'Roll On,' really grabbing the track by the horns, injecting some of their jacking grooves and turning it into a real club monster.

Returning with his signature sound, Cuartero is releasing his Moon Crash EP on the revered Hot Creations. Two high-paced, underground rollers to energise and hypnotise, completed by a masterful groove-heavy remix from DJ Sneak & Tripmastaz.

Moon Crash combines a sturdy, looping low-end and rhythmic, mid frequency percussion. A playful mix of synth and vocal chops, stabs and blips, transform into an invigorating ride. The legendary DJ Sneak and fellow house gangster, Tripmastaz, combine forces on their SP1200 Fire Mix, turning the original Moon Crush on it’s head with affected vocals, a rejuvenated bassline and a jackin’ house beat.

Cuartero hails from Malaga, Spain, and has been releasing music since 2009 on labels like Desolat, Moon Harbour and Saved. In 2015 he was named Best Newcomer DJ at the DJ Awards and in 2017 he won Best Tech House Artist and Artist Of The Year at the Vicious Music Awards.

Fast rising Manchester talent Joseph Edmund presents the scintillating Dreams to Reality, his debut release on Hot Creations following his well-received The Pressure EP on sister label Hottrax.

Norrr kicks off with a chunky, addictive house beat, as playful vocals are injected before the introduction of a whirring bassline. The foot is then taken off the gas as the track breathes, before being hurled back into a peak time cut. On Fuego, zippy electronics combine with sirens, whistles and vocal loops, in a piece that is both charming and devious when these elements become tightly fused.

Joseph Edmund is an underground house and techno DJ/Producer from the musical city of Manchester. After starting to DJ at the age of 19, he began playing at Manchester’s best venues including Gorilla and Sankeys. Quickly turning his hand to production, he became immersed in the studio, spending countless hours learning his craft and developing his sound. His early releases have already been supported by Steve Lawler, Solardo, Patrick Topping, Mark Jenkyns, Nathan Borato, Jey Kurmis and Latmun. The pinnacle came when his music reached the attention of Hot Creations boss Jamie Jones, who swiftly signed a three track EP to his Hottrax label. Joseph has also received regular support on BBC Radio 1 from Monki and Danny Howard.
