Inspired by the edit Dom Dolla rinsed during one of his recent sets at Hi Ibiza (2025). 

Since I only had a 10 second clip of the first drop to work with as inspiration when I stumbled on it (found on a social post by CONFESSION during a routine doom scrolling sesh), any changes made to the original track (ESSE - Work It) past 0:44 are original ideas from myself, which is why I labeled this a "Rework" vs. a "Remake".

For fifteen years, Hot Creations has been the beating heart of house and electronic music culture; a label that has defined a sound, shaped a community, and launched careers that now dominate dancefloors across the globe. From its inception, co-founders Jamie Jones and Lee Foss envisioned more than a record label. His latest single, ‘Murder Mystery’, is Jamie in full command of that legacy. Adding to weekly Hot Creations takeovers in the UNVRS Bunker throughout the Ibiza season, the release is framed by an extraordinary run of events across the 15th Anniversary year, with Paradise shows in parallel, such as the Ibiza Closing Party, Warehouse Project, and ADE, as well as headline US dates in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. 

With ‘Murder Mystery’, Jamie Jones delivers more than a track. It is the culmination of a moment: the merging of both joint and collective visions, the continuation of a hot streak following his recent collaboration with Nicole Moudaber on the label, and a celebration of fifteen years of Hot Creations shaping the sound and spirit of house music globally.
