34 y/o from Portland Oregon. Born Dec 22 1989 we lived in SF moved to Portland 94. in 2012, attending my College I wrote my first EP  with "I have this Knife' based on Murderdolls Mad Manager 4. 

I demoed out for years, practicing on college campus with friends. Kayla Sega joined in 2012 and in 2017 I got a call after she disappeared the had unalived herself. I was destroyed. So I pulled down all my music as "Spooky Max" in 2019, I rebranded as Max and became a local weirdo. I made new music to make fun and have a resurgence in Punk Trap/Gothic Rock. I wrote "My Name is Max" as a come back...

In the last few years I have rebranded to Max Dorsey, my own legal name. No one can steal that from me. I've been mocked and laughed at, for being myself... But I will always be myself and be self reliant. While making more music in 2022, and to this day...  I've made friends in the LA Goth Metal scene with God Bombs, Nightmare and Our Frankenstein and a band Corvin's Breed out in Pennsylvania. Bunny Danger in New Orleans, and making more Friends every day. 

Max is coming for your pumpkins, striped tights and lunchboxes....


My first official gig was in Seattle in a Backyard Barbecue show with my dad's old band buddies' kids in a band called "Pure Honey" had a lot of fun!
