Jockey Down invite you to bring back the old school with their third funkin’ instalment: Get Get Down! And this time it’s free!

On the 16th March our three resident deck wizards will be gracing the hallowed halls of one of East London’s most iconic independent venues: Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes. Here our selectors will be filling the rooms, and your soul, with the sounds that defined the second summer of love, expect the night to be laced with Chicago House, disco hedonism, Balearic street beats and spiritually charged four-to-the-floor rhythms.

This cosmic voyage of auditory nostalgia will also see the performance debut of musical collaborators Doppel-Dongers tantalising your taste buds for that old school rave sound.

The Wyrding Floor is Max Dupa’s monthly daybreak radio ramble (3rd Friday monthly ): a folklore-literate DJ mix where Balearic, cosmic disco, boogie and leftfield house rub shoulders with hedgerows, old stories and seasonal turning points. Each episode follows the wheel of the year - long nights, thresholds, the return of light - using production tells (minor-key mist, sub-weight, dubby “weather” pads, hearth-warm mids) as the storytelling. Expect occasional biosonification from whatever’s growing nearby, plus spoken marginalia in the spirit of a folkloric fanzine: curious, a bit gnostic, and politely suspicious of its own conclusions.
