At the end, what will remain for them? Nothing, maybe. Violence, anger, debauchery most probably. Fear of others, an endless struggle to survive. No laws nor rules, For what purpose anyway? 
Will we at least be remembered? Worshipped or despised? And so what actually? You won't even be there to see, remember you are being chased.
