Kasablanca present their debut three-track EP on Anjunabeats, the ‘Immunity EP’.

This enigmatic melodic techno duo exploded onto the scene in summer 2020 with their Lane 8 collaboration, 'Run', a bonafide hit for both artists. As of March 2022, it’s been streamed nearly 20 million times on Spotify and charted at #1 on SiriusXM BPM. 

Kasablanca's legend continues to grow. ‘Run’ was followed by their debut album 'Human Learning', and they've been touring globally ever since. The duo debuted their live show, replete with racks of modular synthesisers, at Red Rocks Amphitheater in September 2021 while supporting US bass superstar Rezz. 

In December 2021, they joined us at Anjunabeats, remixing Above & Beyond's 'Black Room Boy' as part of the '10 Years of Group Therapy' celebrations. Their first original music on the label arrived soon after: ‘Immunity’ in January 2022, and ‘Can You Hear Me Now?’ in February 2022. ‘Immunity’ playlisted on Diplo’s Revolution station on Sirius XM, and was described as “a sleekly propulsive slice of melodic techno” by Billboard. 

Kasablanca recently thrilled crowds at CRSSD Festival in San Diego, Terminal 5 in NYC, and Echostage in Washington D.C. Further dates across the US are planned across spring/summer 2022, including Buffalo, Columbus and Houston.

We’re excited to reveal more original music on the label from one of dance music’s most intriguing acts. Kasablanca’s ‘Immunity EP’ is out now on Anjunabeats.

When SLANDER gave me their outlet to express my vision for “Unity EP” through Heaven Sent, it marked a big shift in my career. I was so honored and grateful. After the ep dropped, SLANDER took me under their wings for a fshow opportunities, which helped plant a seed for my career. It put me on the radar, and allowed other dreams to come true, like the 2 month bus tour I recently embarked on with Dabin & Rome in Silver. Their humbleness and consistent support for the underground inspired me to embark on a new mission - I wanted to help some my favorite underground musicians plant their seed like I was able to. I brought up the idea of a Unity remix package, and SLANDER greenlit it! I knew it would the perfect opportunity to bring light on some of my favorite underground talent. Some of the artists on the pack are more established, like Mazare and Similar Outskirts, and others are smaller artists who have never had a major platform like this, such as Cloudsight and eccentric. I wanted to make sure no 2 remixes were the same, so I tried to pick a collection of artists that make drastically different genres, including Cloudsight and Driftcat’s which venture out of the Electronic realm entirely! I’m so proud of everyone involved and I’m excited for the world to hear what my team and I have curated!

i figured i'd upload this today as a lil thank you for being in my life as it's my 22nd birthday today :))

this year's been insane to me, and throughout i've grown a lot as a person, gained lots of lovely friends and lost some others. this year's brought a lot of good things to me and without your support, they wouldn't be the way they are.

i have never been so motivated to push myself to be the best i can be before, nor have i ever been as positive about myself. this year has been the best for me, musically, and academically. 

this is one of my all-time favourite songs and has carried me throughout so many parts of life, from losing things dear to me, to gaining new ones. as cheesy as a lot of people make it, k?d has been a massive role model to me. i always aspire to make different genres and styles and push myself a lot and a lot of it is thanks to them and their insanely diverse skillset.

i've had some rough rough times throughout these last few years, being tested and pushed to my limits, but thanks to my friends and those close to me, i'm here and still breathing.

thank you for being in my life, i love you.

- also the artwork and style is a lil teaser of the next album's direction, i still am releasing the current one to give myself some time to perfect it. (also i have a new song out next friday xx)
