This song grew out of a collaborative exercise among four people who never collaborated or even met before. Part of the Coffee Tea Whiskey composers' collaborative.

Concurrence

This is a rhythmic collage of vocal samples I took from a couple of rehearsals with a church band here in Dallas. The worship leader has a unique way of vocalizing rhythms and making all kinds of cool sounds, all of which lends itself well for a remix.

Boom Backah Pow

Beats and sounds almost exclusively created from samples I recorded of professional racquetball players, this track was made all the way back in 2005 when I was obsessed with the sport myself.
The track was composed in Propellerhead Reason and exists as a complete project, i.e. no additional overdubbing or mixing was done. Instead, all the samples triggered, processed, and played back in real-time. It was painstaking and exhilarating!

Racquetball Logic

One of a new set of tracks. These sound even better live than any other material I've performed on Spacebar before after making considerable improvements to the live sound-design and routing. 
This was recorded in one take. The few notes of sub-bass are the only thing that was pre-recorded.
