Muti Music is pleased to announce the release of the 4th installment of remix EPs from the Sizzla album Born A King, which we released in May of this year. The album produced by Mista Savona has received critical acclaim and charted in the top 20 of iTunes Reggae, and the single 'Champion Sound' (featured & remixed in this EP) has also been living in the Beatport Reggae Top 10 for the past 4 months.

'Champion Sound' showcases Sizzla at his finest in a soundclash style - "all them come a talk, none of them caan come test!" - alongside rocksteady legend Errol Dunkley who supplies some really beautiful vocals throughout the tune - "Babylon pressure is all around, but we can conquer them with our sound". Mista Savona also brings the guns blazing, providing his original & heavy Rockers instrumental the 'Soundclash Riddim' together with some remarkably tough vocal versions - featuring Jamaican legends Turbulence, Iyashanti, Johnny Clarke, Determine & the one and only Burro Banton (in one of his hardest tunes yet!)

The Electronic remix lineup is one of the strongest so far, stacked with a variety of genres that includes Drum & Bass and Junglist-styled beats from Dub Phizix, Skeptical and Dov1, a relentlessly funky Glitch Hop version by Spoonbill that is bound to destroy a few dancefloors and turn more than a few heads. Roommate provides a well needed deep Dubstep version, and Hypha and LeGinge provide melodic and Glitchy versions with a hint of Future-bass and R&B influences.

To give some background on this project - whilst on tour in Australia we met Mista Savona, a Melbourne based producer who had just returned from Jamaica with a bag of new riddims and an almost-completed album with legendary reggae artist Sizzla. We listened to the tunes and loved the fresh new sounds and very positive feel of the album, with its uplifting messages and inspired vocal performances. Muti Music has been releasing a series of Remix EP's based around the album's May 2014 release, featuring producers at the leading edge of dance music globally. These have been receiving rave reviews across the Blogosphere, play on BBC, XFM, Sirius and numerous other internet and FM stations, as well as reviews in high profile magazines like DJMAG.

Max RubaDub, better known as „The Remix Junkie“ releases his personal milestone. After years of remixing for labels and artists from all over the world, he finally found time to sit down and work on his producer-album. Featuring voices like Luciano, Gappy Ranks, Voicemail or Lutan Fyah this LP brings along a high musical diversity. On 16 tracks he mixes all the different colors which Jamaican Bass music has to offer. Whether it is rub-a-dub, hiphop, steppers, dancehall or one-drop, Max dedicates his debut-album to the love of music.

Max RubaDub is truly unique. Like no one else, he mixes danceable beats with fresh vocals - whether it is mash up, dancehall, reggae or hip-hop - focussing on groovy music that keep your dancing feet moving; always surrounded by the Jamaican vibe. He plays what he likes and whatever makes the party going crazy; also new genres such as afrobeats or even shatta.

Having gained a lot of experience, Max knows exactly how to crank up the party and how to excite the party crowd anywhere. But this DJ is also an entertainer: with his hot sets, he is a welcome guest in the clubs and one of the most booked selectors in Switzerland.

He started his career as a member of the well-known Riot Soundsystem, with which he travelled all-over Switzerland and its neighbouring countries. But also as a solo DJ he managed to gain publicity by creating internationally acclaimed remixes for names as Chali 2na or Cypress Hill and by releasing mixtape series.

Meanwhile, the name Max RubaDub stands for quality. A further project is the SoundMax-Studio, in which he is experimenting and working on his latest remixes, is recording different artists or is refining his newest productions. He released his own music on several international labels such as Irish Moss Records (IR), Cast-a-Blast (GR), Gideon Production (CH), Superfly (PL) Ranking Reggae (CH) or on his own RubaDub Blends (CH).

The future seems to be bright: there are already new productions and mixes raring to be released and as usual Max RubaDub is willing to demonstrate his DJ-skills in the clubs. Watch out!

Max RubaDub ist ein Unikum. Wie kein zweiter mixt er tanzbare Beats mit freshen Vocals, egal ob Mash Up, Dancehall, Reggae oder Hip Hop, Hauptsache, der Sound groovt und geht direkt in die Beine. Der rote Faden ist der jamaikanische Vibe. Dabei macht Max auch vor Stilarten wie Afrobeats oder Shatta nicht Halt. Gespielt wird was gefällt – und abgeht!

Max RubaDub gelingt es dank seiner langjährigen Erfahrung, die Party zur rocken, welche diesen Namen auch verdient und die TänzerInnen landauf und -ab zu begeistern. Ein weiteres Projekt ist das SoundMax-Studio, in welchem er an seinen Remixen arbeitet, verschiedene Künstler aufnimmt und an seinen eigenen Produktionen feilt, welche er bereits auf internationalen Labels wie Irish Moss Records (IR), Cast-a-Blast (GR), Gideon Production (CH), Superfly (PL) Ranking Reggae (CH) und seinem eigenen RubaDub Blends (CH) veröffentlichen konnte.
