The Remix Junkie EP - A collection of exclusive remixes produced by Max RubaDub.

Since Max began making music he was fascinated of the possibilities to change a vibe of a tune through a remix. The last three years he was busy doing remixes for different producers and labels all over the world, but it was about time to start his own project. For this EP he asked several producers for vocals nobody ever touched before, the result is "The Remix Junkie" EP.

Green Lion Crew and Blvk H3ro are starting off 2021 on another level mentally, spiritually, and musically. The first collaboration between US based producers Green Lion Crew and Jamaican based vocalist Blvk H3ro is a hard hitting dancehall track with a message. The track was recorded at H3ro’s home in 8 Mile, Kingston Jamaica at the beginning of March 2020 right as the pandemic started. You can hear the pressure and the grit in the lyrics that perfectly capture the vibe on the streets in Jamaica at that time. “I know many had to find a connection to self and a connection to a higher purpose or calling to make it through. Because of that I feel we are moving to a higher heights or a higher understanding of self and the world we live in” said H3ro when speaking about the song. A 90s style dancehall track with heavy 808s, dreamy high pitched bells, and hard hitting street lyrics will get you hyped and ready to start the new year. Set to release in collaboration with Ineffable Records on January 15, 2021.

Max RubaDub, better known as „The Remix Junkie“ releases his personal milestone. After years of remixing for labels and artists from all over the world, he finally found time to sit down and work on his producer-album. Featuring voices like Luciano, Gappy Ranks, Voicemail or Lutan Fyah this LP brings along a high musical diversity. On 16 tracks he mixes all the different colors which Jamaican Bass music has to offer. Whether it is rub-a-dub, hiphop, steppers, dancehall or one-drop, Max dedicates his debut-album to the love of music.

Max RubaDub is truly unique. Like no one else, he mixes danceable beats with fresh vocals - whether it is mash up, dancehall, reggae or hip-hop - focussing on groovy music that keep your dancing feet moving; always surrounded by the Jamaican vibe. He plays what he likes and whatever makes the party going crazy; also new genres such as moombahton or even dubstep.

Having gained a lot of experience, Max knows exactly how to crank up the party and how to excite the party crowd anywhere. But this DJ is also an entertainer: with his hot sets, he is a welcome guest in the clubs and one of the most booked selectors in Switzerland.

He started his career as a member of the well-known Riot Soundsystem, with which he travelled all-over Switzerland and its neighbouring countries. But also as a solo DJ he managed to gain publicity by creating internationally acclaimed remixes for names as Chali 2na or Cypress Hill and by releasing mixtape series.

Meanwhile, the name Max RubaDub stands for quality. A further project is the SoundMax-Studio, in which he is experimenting and working on his latest remixes, is recording different artists or is refining his newest productions. He released his own music on several international labels such as Irish Moss Records (IR), Cast-a-Blast (GR), Gideon Production (CH), Superfly (PL) Ranking Reggae (CH) or on his own RubaDub Blends (CH).

The future seems to be bright: there are already new productions and mixes raring to be released and as usual Max RubaDub is willing to demonstrate his DJ-skills in the clubs. Watch out!
