Introducing ‘Cool & Deadly’, the second single taken from Bristol based producer KREED’s forthcoming album project ‘A Brief History’, landing September this year.
 
Following the release of the first single ‘Freedom of Speech’ ft. Prynce Mini in May, this second drop from the album shows KREED teaming up with one of the most celebrated sound system music artists in the UK, Solo Banton. A true favourite of the international Reggae/Dancehall scene, Solo is known and loved for his vintage deejay style, intelligent (often comical) content, and energy filled live performances. 

The pair have linked up to bring us ‘Cool & Deadly’, a sonically rich and bass-heavy track that is primed for the club sound systems. Lyrically, Solo takes us on a journey through the dancehall, whilst emphasising the importance of allowing people enjoy themselves free of judgment and aggravation. This is backed by an intricate instrumental by KREED, packed full of low bass weight energy, heavy drums and ‘Wild West’ references.

‘A Brief History’ LP is due for full release on 30th September and will be available across all major digital/streaming platforms, also accompanied by a physical release of 12” heavyweight 180g vinyl.

Another well overdue re-issue, this time its Shepdog's massive "Bigger Than Jamrock" which laces a classic dancehall track with one of the biggest hip hop basslines known to man. First released in 2006, it was this tune that put Shepdog on the map as a mash-up maestro! 

On the flip is a brand new blend and one that you really can't believe hasn't been done before! Taking the vocal from that massive hip hop bassline banger and putting it on top of the biggest dancehall bassline of all time, its not rocket science but sure does lift off any dancefloor when played.

Cannabis has been part of human culture for milennia, whether it be for medicine, food, textiles, religiously, or recreationally - it's only in recent history that the plant has been demonised and criminalised

This plant is a beautiful medicine that people should be free to use if they wish ✨️

The history of cannabis prohibition is one of racism, classism, and control. It was criminalised as a political assault against black people and the antiwar left, and personally, we believe it's time to move forward from this ➡️

Here's a few more reasons we believe it should be legalised:

1. It's less harmful than alcohol or tobacco, which are both legal to use. In fact, cannabis has some proven health benefits.

2. It's a victimless "crime" - only the user is taking any risk.

3. Legalised, it could be properly regulated to ensure quality and safety.

4. It would be good for our economy - legalising cannabis in the UK is estimated to generate £1.5 billion in tax revenue each year and create over 15,000 full-time equivalent jobs across cultivation, manufacture, retail, and supporting services.

Max RubaDub, better known as „The Remix Junkie“ releases his personal milestone. After years of remixing for labels and artists from all over the world, he finally found time to sit down and work on his producer-album. Featuring voices like Luciano, Gappy Ranks, Voicemail or Lutan Fyah this LP brings along a high musical diversity. On 16 tracks he mixes all the different colors which Jamaican Bass music has to offer. Whether it is rub-a-dub, hiphop, steppers, dancehall or one-drop, Max dedicates his debut-album to the love of music.

Max RubaDub is truly unique. Like no one else, he mixes danceable beats with fresh vocals - whether it is mash up, dancehall, reggae or hip-hop - focussing on groovy music that keep your dancing feet moving; always surrounded by the Jamaican vibe. He plays what he likes and whatever makes the party going crazy; also new genres such as afrobeats or even shatta.

Having gained a lot of experience, Max knows exactly how to crank up the party and how to excite the party crowd anywhere. But this DJ is also an entertainer: with his hot sets, he is a welcome guest in the clubs and one of the most booked selectors in Switzerland.

He started his career as a member of the well-known Riot Soundsystem, with which he travelled all-over Switzerland and its neighbouring countries. But also as a solo DJ he managed to gain publicity by creating internationally acclaimed remixes for names as Chali 2na or Cypress Hill and by releasing mixtape series.

Meanwhile, the name Max RubaDub stands for quality. A further project is the SoundMax-Studio, in which he is experimenting and working on his latest remixes, is recording different artists or is refining his newest productions. He released his own music on several international labels such as Irish Moss Records (IR), Cast-a-Blast (GR), Gideon Production (CH), Superfly (PL) Ranking Reggae (CH) or on his own RubaDub Blends (CH).

The future seems to be bright: there are already new productions and mixes raring to be released and as usual Max RubaDub is willing to demonstrate his DJ-skills in the clubs. Watch out!
