- Wellwellsound from France -

Eljo Wellington aka Wellwellsound. He released his first oficial album on King Dub Records in 2013. His musical style is strictly in a 8 bit digital style, reminding the old nintendo, C64, Atari sound etc... Also his dub might well be futuristic, both in the choice of the sounds and in the way to put them together, WellWell works the old way: first, he builds the riddim, then he makes a dub version by torturing it with all the effects that comes to hand. The least we can say is that it rocks. Wellwell sound has for a long time now been doing some of the sharpest production in laptop 8 bit reggae and this is no less of a great effort from the french great producer.

- YUGO (Deltaforce sound Int) From Jahpan -
Yugo is a reggae selector / MC and Singjay from Yokohama, Japan. He represents 2 categories of sound : Delta Force sound since 2004, Roots temple JP since 2014 out of Yokohama, also home to the world famous Mighty Crown and a massive reggae music culture. Yugo has been playing with Delta Force around Yokohama since 2004. Yugo later moved to London & spent some years exploring the UK reggae scene & building solid connections in the industry whilst working at historical Reggae record shops like Supertone in Brixton. At the time Yugo met up with chazbo chong(Owner of roots temple, Bush chemist foundation). On his return to Japan, Yugo organised a Japan tour with Bush Chemists (Chazbo Chong & King General) & also with Kenny knots and Carl Meeks in 2012/13. Yugo also released a mix CD in Japan with Kris Kemist, having linked with Reality Shock family back in Reading UK. Yugo is currently expressing himself musically working on some digital dancehall influenced productions also spiritual music as roots temple productions & is available for bookings Roots temple, Delta Force Sound across Europe & worldwide.

Dig It All - calling all digital immigrants and natives!
 
After a number of previous collaborations in various styles of the Reggae
genre (such as Roots, Dancehall, Ska and Dub) and uncounted hours of sharing
the passion for this music by talking about it, listening to it and
performing it, we decided to join forces for a venturesome project.
 
It is no secret that both of us have a predilection for the origins of the
computerized Dancehall style that was created and developed in 80s Jamaica
by innovative producers such as King Jammy and Bobby Digital. The
instrumental-track to Wayne Smith's "Under Me Sleng Teng",
a Jammy production from 1985, is claimed to be the first 'all digital'
rhythm in Reggae. It has paved the way for literally thousands of artists
and producers, including ourselves.
 
On the performance side, the inspiration lies in the works of veteran
Deejays such as Admiral Bailey, Chaka Demus and Cutty Ranks, to name a few.
Storytelling as a way of entertainment, finding diverting topics,
interesting expressions and riding the riddim with a peculiar flow.
 
On the producer side, the inspiration came from the pioneers of digital
Reggae such as Jammys, Harry J, Steely and Clevie, and Gussie
Clarke.  During the production, a lot of classic original gear from back in
the day was used - Yamaha CS-01, Casio Mt41 and MT100, Roland Space Echo,
Fisher SpaceXpander, and the Coron DS-08 Drum Synth.
 
This way, it was possible to catch the sound and the spirit of the
originators and respectfully and sensitively transport it into modern times.
 
So here it is - our tribute to the veterans and pioneers of the digital
style, dedicated to all digital specialists!

Max RubaDub, better known as „The Remix Junkie“ releases his personal milestone. After years of remixing for labels and artists from all over the world, he finally found time to sit down and work on his producer-album. Featuring voices like Luciano, Gappy Ranks, Voicemail or Lutan Fyah this LP brings along a high musical diversity. On 16 tracks he mixes all the different colors which Jamaican Bass music has to offer. Whether it is rub-a-dub, hiphop, steppers, dancehall or one-drop, Max dedicates his debut-album to the love of music.

Max RubaDub is truly unique. Like no one else, he mixes danceable beats with fresh vocals - whether it is mash up, dancehall, reggae or hip-hop - focussing on groovy music that keep your dancing feet moving; always surrounded by the Jamaican vibe. He plays what he likes and whatever makes the party going crazy; also new genres such as afrobeats or even shatta.

Having gained a lot of experience, Max knows exactly how to crank up the party and how to excite the party crowd anywhere. But this DJ is also an entertainer: with his hot sets, he is a welcome guest in the clubs and one of the most booked selectors in Switzerland.

He started his career as a member of the well-known Riot Soundsystem, with which he travelled all-over Switzerland and its neighbouring countries. But also as a solo DJ he managed to gain publicity by creating internationally acclaimed remixes for names as Chali 2na or Cypress Hill and by releasing mixtape series.

Meanwhile, the name Max RubaDub stands for quality. A further project is the SoundMax-Studio, in which he is experimenting and working on his latest remixes, is recording different artists or is refining his newest productions. He released his own music on several international labels such as Irish Moss Records (IR), Cast-a-Blast (GR), Gideon Production (CH), Superfly (PL) Ranking Reggae (CH) or on his own RubaDub Blends (CH).

The future seems to be bright: there are already new productions and mixes raring to be released and as usual Max RubaDub is willing to demonstrate his DJ-skills in the clubs. Watch out!

Max RubaDub ist ein Unikum. Wie kein zweiter mixt er tanzbare Beats mit freshen Vocals, egal ob Mash Up, Dancehall, Reggae oder Hip Hop, Hauptsache, der Sound groovt und geht direkt in die Beine. Der rote Faden ist der jamaikanische Vibe. Dabei macht Max auch vor Stilarten wie Afrobeats oder Shatta nicht Halt. Gespielt wird was gefällt – und abgeht!

Max RubaDub gelingt es dank seiner langjährigen Erfahrung, die Party zur rocken, welche diesen Namen auch verdient und die TänzerInnen landauf und -ab zu begeistern. Hier wird der DJ zum Entertainer: Mit seinen brandheissen Sets ist er gern gesehener Gast in den Clubs und einer der am meisten gebuchten Plattenaufleger der Schweiz.

Seine Karriere als DJ begann Max als Teil des Riot Soundsystems, mit dem er die ganze Schweiz und das nahe Ausland bereiste und manchen Dance zum Kochen brachte. Ein weiteres Projekt ist das SoundMax-Studio, in welchem er an seinen Remixen arbeitet, verschiedene Künstler aufnimmt und an seinen eigenen Produktionen feilt, welche er bereits auf internationalen Labels wie Irish Moss Records (IR), Cast-a-Blast (GR), Gideon Production (CH), Superfly (PL) Ranking Reggae (CH) und seinem eigenen RubaDub Blends (CH) veröffentlichen konnte.

An der Zukunft wird bereits fleissig geschraubt, so stehen neue Produktionen und Mixes in den Startlöchern, und natürlich wird Max RubaDub weiterhin seine DJ-Skills in den Clubs beweisen. Aufgepasst!
