I found Batu-Ozer via a fantastic podcast on Urban Cosmonaut Radio (be sure to check them out) - When I delved a little deeper I found an artist and DJ focusing on a sound indebted to his Turkish roots, but more over a producer exploring beneath the soil of lands far and wide.

In his fantastic new Métron Musik Mixtape the Istanbul native paints a vivid journey across a hazy desert, passing through small villages and strange characters along the way. Batu balances a tense energy with the contrasting stillness of open space.

So langsam ist man wieder in der Realität angekommen und schauf zurück auf das Wilde Möhre Festival 2017. Meinen Mitschnitt von Samstagnacht möchte ich euch dabei nicht vorenthalten. Nachdem wir bereits eine Woche lang die Deko auf dem Immergrün zusammengeklöppelt haben, durfte ich, ehrlich gesagt ziemlich geschafft (man verzeihe mir den einen oder anderen Fehler im Set) auch mal ein paar Knöpfe drücken. I discovered this mix over along period of time. Digging, searching and dreaming of a selection that creates a special mood.. that switches around.. to surprise myself with all the facets of music and its strangeness.
I saw the mix become another in the morning and changed in the evening... i got afraid of a neverending story… so i finished it in the afternoon.

Chöka Aba! How to describe somebody who is not fitting in a frame....? No need to do so, otherways this is the frame. We love his uniqueness to do stuff wich is like one of a kind... Totally happy to have one of his creations on our platform. Thank you for this Jens!!
