The first verse is the perspective of the youngest member who is a victim of violence, he speaks from a place of peace and understanding. The second verse comes from his incarcerated brother who speaks with anger, rage, and revenge. The last verse comes from the father who is also incarcerated and he speaks from a place of regret.
