whatever happened happened, except how I reacted 
I'm back to turn my back backward just for you to fucking stab it 
lucky just to have an address ! lucky just to have a fuckin mattress
to lay down my lucky head, in sadness, and reflect on my bad habits

I had a heart to heart  with my inner darkness, it said I'm not the smartest
it said I'm failure incarnate, rolled up , a dirty carpet  
discarded from the old apartment, I'm just a piece of garbage, 
life is so fucking retarded because re-starting is the hardest 

I'm not exalted. But spare me my faults. 
Life gave me a thousand cuts : I gave myself a pound of salt.
and this is the result, the rising sun is just a flop house 
and I'm just a drop out / or a social problem / I should stop now 

it's noah's arc in a shopping cart / i'm so amped up, we can camp out 
i need a hand up / so I'm downtown / for a hand out
and if I get through this winter maybe I'll quit smoking and swearing
but today, if I get dinner,  I still sleep in the clothes I'm wearing

I'm backtracking back home just to go back on my fucking word

had me packing up my baggage and heading off to the bus stop 

like, fuck it, another experience off the bucket list, I should be grateful
shoulda gazed into the ocean instead into the abyss, I mean my navel 
I have no personal saviour. I'm out on bad behaviour
how are things at home? I dunno, ask our neighbours.

I lost integrity long ago. now I'm short on fucking leg room 
sleeping on this coach bus instead of back home in our fucking bed room
our past is bad, broken memories, further back makes it worse
the last couple of verses hurts, but will the break up Break the curse?

bus windows, tinted outside, I'm inside, looking back
wishing i could make it simple. Was it ever really that bad ?
forever homeless and hopeless, in any shelter I weasel into
