Alicea ist in der Münchner Szene schon längst kein Newcomer DJ mehr. In der Lockdown-Zeit war sie ein regelmäßiger Gast in den Harry Klein Livestreams. Am 8. Oktober kam der große Moment: Das Electronic Monster Soundsystem lud nach 1,5 Jahren Stillstand endlich wieder zum Feiern und Tanzen ein. Aliceas Markenzeichen? Die Leidenschaft und Energie, die sie in ihren DJ Sets freisetzt. Eine frische Mischung aus (Dub)Techno, Detroit, House, Breakbeat und Tech House versprechen ein wahrlich musikalisches Abenteuer abseits des Mainstreams! Elektronischer Sound, den man in München so noch nicht gehört hat.

Mixmag Adria Exclusive Mix podcast series' second episode in 2022 features the prodigious Michelle Sparks, the poster girl for the Californian label Octopus Recordings.

Born and raised in Arizona, Michelle got her first pair of turntables in 2006. and started spinning in 2008., working with various promotors in Phoenix. On the creative side, she started releasing her own work in the early 2010s, her music described as atmospheric and futuristic sound, infused with deep musicality and raw, stripped down minimalism.

In 2018. her Octopus' debut EP ''Force Field'' went out, making her an essential member of the team and regular DJ at the Octopus Showcase & Warehouse parties, with many US and international appearances. Michelle's latest track, ''Yakuza'' is out now via Octopus Warehouse Series, as part of the January 2022 Warehouse Focus VA Compilation. Her remix for Marascia & Dusty Kid's ''WIWY'' is part of the ''Octopus Selects 2021'' release.

Born and raised in Colombia, Marcela took an interest in electronic music in the early 2000s when house and techno became popular in the country and when she was a regular at the Cinema club. But it was only in South Africa when she began DJing. 

She has played regularly at the house and techno club ToyToy, H20 Electronic Festival (aka H20 Party Festival), and other festive techno events in Cape Town, South Africa. 

Now, she is based in London and focuses on producing and organizing her business called “Salon”  - a series of collective events showcasing creative opportunities for human connection through the arts, politics, friendship, and of course electronic music.
