Iconic hip-hop rapper Rodney P, is back in a huge way with his release of his accomplished new single ‘Untitled’. As part of London Posse, one of the first home grown UK hip hop acts, Rodney P became highly influential in the development of the genre.

Working recently with BBC 4 on a groundbreaking documentary ‘The Hip Hop World News’, launching Friday 30th September, Rodney P presents and shares his musical hip hop journey through his eyes. His brand new track features as a fitting ending to the feature, highlighting his continually inspiring hip hop career.

Rodney P’s latest work in the studio with the talented record label owner Max Cyrus who’s co-produced and engineered the new cutting-edge track ‘Untitled’ has been nothing short of innovative.

Recorded in Metropolis studios with Liam Nolan (previously worked with Adele and Jess Gylnne) who oversaw the whole project, Rodney P worked collaboratively with East London poet Lanre Sulola bringing true meaning to the lyrics. The track will be released on Friday 7th October following the accompanying BBC 4 documentary on Friday 30th September. The track will launch exclusively on the Rodney P VEVO channel.

Born South London. Max Cyrus is an artist/producer/composer/songwriter who has been on the music scene from the age of 17.

In 2015 Max Cyrus Music is commissioned to produce ‘Untitled,’ featuring Rodney P and Lanre Sulola. It features on BBC 4 Documentary ‘The Hip Hop World News.’ The single written and produced by Max Cyrus at Metropolis Studios alongside Liam Nolan (X2 Grammy Award winning engineer for Adele, Sam Smith and Stormzy’s VOSSI BOP.) The single was selected for Record Store Day the following year.

Max Cyrus goes on to compose music for Simon Frederick’s ‘Black is The New Black’ aired on BBC 2.

In 2017 Max Cyrus collaborated with Geni Lou & Pax (international choreographers) for Breakin Convention, a theatre piece titled HANNAH. The piece portrays erased stories about women who have done significant things in history but have never been told. This was performed at Sadlers Wells Theatre.

In 2019, Max Cyrus composes music for Blue Monday for Hector Plaza and Agnes Sales (Dance crew from Spain.) The work has been signed by film producer, Andy Margetson to produce a short film. Blue Monday has been officially selected to have its International Premier at the 2020 ScreenDance Festival in Stockholm Sweden and Richmond Dance Festival in Virginia USA. 

In 2020 Max Cyrus composed and sound mixed Jazz documentary ‘Uprooted – The Journey of Jazz Dance’. The world premiere is scheduled for the 19th July 2020 in NYC.

Currently, Max Cyrus is in the process of creating a documentary of his journey as a culture keeper for music and its emotional belonging for art and film. The documentary will Premiere on 2nd August 2020 @

His debut EP will be released late 2020.
