r2π è un progetto a quattro mani nato dalla fusione organica di Retina.it (Nicola Buono e Lino Monaco), Prg/m (Pier Giuseppe Mariconda) e Ruhig (Luigi Cicchella) tre solide realtà della techno italiana che attraversando percorsi molto differenti hanno deciso di mettere insieme le loro idee in questo nuovo progetto, una “triangolazione” di tre elementi energetici campani che vanno a costruire una “quadratura del cerchio” perfetta, un ensemble olistico dove le anime sono ancora distinguibili ma dove il tutto è più della somma delle singole parti.

"Thermastris Live":
Tra le pratiche che finirono per costituire l’alveo proteiforme delle forme della cultura ellenica riti, culti e religiosità avevano un posto privilegiato e tra loro un ruolo fondamentale aveva la danza, elemento non solo ludico ma vera e propria oggettivazione di un pensiero fortemente intriso e contaminato da ritualità e misticismo. Quale risposta al caos la danza greca si va a condensare in due distinti momenti: l’Ethos e il Pathos, la Xyphismòs (la danza con la spada) elegante e solenne e la Thermastris (la danza dai movimenti convulsi) dal carattere liberatorio e esorcizzante.
In questi anni contraddistinti dal “Pensiero debole”, ovvero la perdita della concezione fondazionale della filosofia, la dissoluzione dei fondamenti ultimi, dei princìpi incontrovertibili, delle idee chiare e distinte, i valori assoluti, i suoni elettronici dei sintetizzatori, le immagini dei visuals non rappresentano altro che il detrito di sedimenti e masse che negli anni e nello spazio hanno vagato fino a divenire matrice generativa di nuovi tipi di danze “geometriche” e parossistiche che vestono gli abiti di moderne Thermastris.

Lindsey Wang is also known as Polygonia, which is a versatile art and music project based in Munich, Germany. 
Her preceding intensive and long practice playing several instruments as well as the experiences with other art forms, inspired the artist to translate her understanding of rhythm, composition and experimentalism into the digital musical language. 
Together with Dycide and MTRL she founded the Ambient and DeepTechno Label IO.  

She creates mystic, deep and experimental soundscapes with acoustic elements in it. 
With a distinguishable musical personality, she takes us on a beautiful ride, where her groovy atmospheres go through body and soul.

CODECAST X - POLYGONIA - La Nature Sauvage

For the 47th instalment of the Mosaic Mix Series we head down under for a deep and dubbed out mix of techno and house from Echo Inspectors.

The duo consists of Mark Baumann and Lance Harrison, two seasoned campaigners in the dub techno scene in Australia who run the highly regarded Primary Colours Label. 

As well as their self released records they have had a multitude of releases and remixes over the years on labels such as ETUI Records, Stardub, Silver Ash and Blueten, whilst also being remixed by dub techno royalty including Luke Hess, Salz, Dean DeCosta, Resoe, CV313, Bluetrain, Mike Schommer, Knowone and Star Dub.
