Sekkt Live - CHI WOW WAH TOWN 2016

Let me take you on a journey: "too easy.” is composed of three main parts. This translates to 40 minutes intro, 60 minutes main and 40 minutes outro. The mix softly pics you up wherever you are, with great melodic bass heavy tracks. You will find some fantastic vocals here too. 

This first part gradually progresses and builds up, with the beats getting deeper until it fluently merges into the second part starting at 0:42h. In this second part the mix takes you to the darker side of electronic music. Here I have inserted my favourite selection of progressive tracks that I came across in the last couple of months in Berlin’s clubs. 

The second part and with it the whole mix peaks at 1:12h with the most experimental track I have included in this mix. I love this track for its unique and heavy bassline. After about 60 minutes of diving into the deepest tunes, the mix slowly takes you back, with the third part commencing around 1:37h. 

The mix turns friendlier and more melodic again, never losing its straight forward beats though. To finish things off, I put two cherries on top: My favourite two emotional tracks from this summers festival season. Enjoy.

Wie und wann seid ihr zur Elektronischen Musik gekommen?

- Bei Lars kam die Findung zur elektronischen Musik nach seiner Zeit als Hip Hop Dj im Jahr 2003. Andi kam 2009 zur elektronischen Musik nachdem er lange Jahre als Drummer in Bands spielte.
 
Welche Musikalischen Momente sind euch besonders in Erinnerung geblieben?

- Da gibt es so einige tolle Momente auf die wir zurückblicken können. Wir hatten unzählige schöne Gigs bei denen wir immer riesig Spaß haben 😉

Max Faudee is established in Berlin's underground Techno & House scene. In his early days he regularly played at venues like Burg Schnabel, Humboldthain, Farbfernseher, Promenaden Eck and Anita Berber. He is represented by the Berlin/Parisian Label Jean-Yann Records.

Originally from Hamburg, where he kicked off his career playing at house parties and small venues, he moved to Southeast Asia in 2015. Here he soon established himself, leading to gigs at several famous bar's and clubs in Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta. His highlights where warming up for MÖWE, Teenage Mutants (both Stil vor Talent, Berlin) and Prok&Fitch on their respective Asia tours. 

Ever since he moved back to Berlin, he has been regularly playing at well known underground venues in the city. His sound is deep and melodic Techno, inspired by labels such as Afterlife and Innervisions.
