Recorded live on December 16th, 2001 at Chaos - 225 East Houston Street, NYC. The Party was called "The Candy Store" and this was the infamous "Happy birthday Goldie" night, celebrating DJ Goldfinger's birthday. Shout to Paul Sevigny, who was not there, but to this day, still yells "Happy birthday Goldie" at me as a result of this recording.

This mix is from 1992 and was recorded live in one take. It definitely sounds like it. There are some TERRIBLE mixes on here, but I'm enjoying this simply for the nostalgia. This was just a mix I recorded to practice and have something to listen to. Maybe there were 2 copies of it, one belonging to my roommate at the time, Raz Mesinai, who is the one who unearthed the cassette, digitized it and was kind of enough to send it over. Again, there are some horrendous mixes on here, but as of now this is the earliest recording I have of me DJing.

This is a live recording of P. Diddy's 2001 Paris Fashion Week party. I DJed. He hosted. Kico and I flew to Paris with about 10 crates of records. Diddy said, "It's Paris, bring EVERYTHING", so we did. This was a private party that he hosted along with Donatella Versace in a basement club just across from The Louvre. Listen to his shout outs and you'll get a good idea of who was there - Naomi Campbell, Kevin Spacey, Heath Ledger, Paris & Nicky Hilton and of course, the woman responsible for me DJing that night, Jessica Rosenblum. Fonzworth Bentley makes a brief appearance on the mic. There was an after party at Les Bains-Douches, which was not recorded. Cut Killer and I DJed that one and some wild stuff happened, but this was the main event and what we really flew to Paris for. I think we were there for less than 24 hours. Good times.
