while [max hatheway 2071] is internally debating a return to music production, they've decided to re-upload some of their old beats. Here is a beat that was produced in May-June of 2018 immediately before a laptop hard-drive failure. It represented the start of what was called [max hatheway SZN] from the release of [biohazard] in June to the [stella tape] which came out on Christmas Day 2018 where [max] joined a producer collective known as "Heartbreak Club" and virtually spent the whole rest of the year making beats as a response to losing an entire laptop worth of music. This'll barely crack 5 plays but i'm doing it because I want to anyway. They kind of miss making music but it didn't seem worthwhile to spend time working on something nobody would ever hear. Nowadays having nobody care is the name of the game and I'm okay with that. At least I have something to do again. Miss u Heartbreak Club.

I was fresh out of dropping out of music school so I had a tiny bit of knowledge, that bassline was played on a keyboard believe it or not. i wouldn't be able to do it again it's been so long.

in 2013, i started making music on fl studio completely by myself, and the only person who actually gave me honest and constructive feedback on any of it was the late Jon Farkas. the name [max hatheway 2000] is taken from his middle name of Hatheway and I've considered him my best friend since the 9th grade. I've never known how to dedicate something to his memory; back in 2018 he helped me put together the "Frosty the Snowman" EP, which was dedicated to him back then. this album is a mixture of some of the first songs he helped me out with when I first started producing and some of the later songs that he gave his feedback on. a tribute to the fact that i wouldn't have continued making music if he wasn't there to hype me up. my beats are sometimes semi-decent. I didn't know how to master properly until Shamana gave me some pointers in a music listening stream in 2018. my music has 0 reach, i have literally one person that interacts with my shit. before I knew them it would've only been Jon Farkas, and for that I'm grateful.
