Frequency Machine is a project developed by David Ricardo Lozada González. DJ/Producer and Artist, originally from the city of eternal spring, Medellín/Colombia.
 
Born in the late 90s, his project is deeply focused and inspired by musical diversity, influenced by ambient, experimental, deep, dub and hypnotic techno music.

The idea of Frequency Machine is to be able to generate musical culture for everyone around it.

He has been part of releases in Granular Spectrum, Sinapsis. He has also made appearances on Habitat Musical Records with his alternate project ‘Individuo Atemporal’

Trip#18: Frequency Machine

We glide without gravity through the vastness of space, where time is bended and nothing exists but now and eternity. On this journey, led by our adept Hydrous, we pass through all kinds of sonic entities that can be found in the universe.

Hydrous is a producer and DJ based in Oslo, Norway. He works in the music industry as a sound engineer and musician and has several projects in different styles and expressions, ranging from ambient and psychedelic rock to psy-chill and techno.
In his project Hydrous, the focus and sound is on the hypnotic, psychedelic and atmospheric side of techno. He draws much of his inspiration from nature, especially the Norwegian landscape, and meditative states. These threads of inspiration run through his DJ sets and productions, which can mainly be found on Navigare Audio, where also his next EP will see the light of day in October 2023.

In his mix for our series, Hydrous opens up a sonic space that organically combines ambient, spherical structures with more hypnotic vibes. But no matter where he sends us aesthetically - every element, whether subtle or excessive, always has its distinct place. Elements that, in their constant repetition, invite you to follow them without any constraint into the realms of infinity.

Just make yourself comfortable, open your ears and join the flight into the deepest parts of our Galaxy.

Alexskyspirit, born and raised in Patras, represents the Greek techno scene. You can hear several elements in Alex's signature sound: Hypnotic ambient atmospheres and distorted textures. His releases have been played by many respected artists and he released on labels such as Edit Select, Planet Rhythm and his label Khoros Records.

The set instantly grabs your attention with the first track. The tension that keeps building throughout the recording is similar to how Alexskyspirit plays during his performances. The effortless flow he created throughout the set takes hold of the listener from start to end.

Jeroen van der Want also known as RON L, is a Dutch DJ based in Gouda, The Netherlands and a resident of the Rotterdam-based organization Embodiment. 

After years of actively experiencing the Dutch techno scene, Jeroen was becoming more and more drawn to that world by the long-lasting feelings of fulfilment and belonging that he experienced after every event. His love and passion for music made him take the next steps into starting his journey as a DJ.

Inspired by artists like Speedy J, Oscar Mulero, Function, and labels like Dynamic Reflection, Pole Group and Illegal Alien Records, RON L has crafted a powerful blend of driving, loopy and hypnotic sounds, which is often best experienced during the peak time of the night. Nowadays, Jeroen is using the Pioneer DDJ-1000 controller, where he has the chance to work with 3 or 4 decks and express himself even better through complex intense atmospheres.

So far Jeroen had the chance to play for the Amsterdam-based Orphic crew, Frameworks in his hometown Gouda and Embodiment in Rotterdam alongside Rene Wise and Somewhen. 

To Jeroen, being a resident of Embodiment means that he is in a trust-worthy environment, where mutual respect is a ground rule, and he feels supported to grow musically and push his limits, which in turn will allow him to give back to the community by sharing his knowledge. In the future, he hopes to get the chance to perform more all around the Netherlands, but also internationally.

Khoroχρόνος will be a room or a space for invited artists to express themselves through their music,their point of view.

● 10th timelapse so far and it's time for Caue.A remarkable artist of hypnotic techno scene.He introduced himself with his releases in Joachim Spieth's imprint Affin in the first place but we have to say we still remember his self release back in the day called Vathos.After that he continued his successful steps putting out music on record labels like Circular Limited,Arcadia Audio and Khoros Records to name a few.Caue's music is based on heavy kicks and basslines layered by mid freqs highlighted textured noisepads.Every single track of him is like a an extended trailer of a movie scene constantly changing the emotions inside that.We will not mention to keep an eye on this guy cause we know you already doing that, but we will mention to stay tuned for his upcoming very first EP release in our imprint in a few days!

Welcome to another edition of our codecast X series, for this one we're glad to introduce Taguaria.

He is  a DJ and passionate music collector, based in the norther hemisphere. I would like to invite everybody to dive with me into the absis of hypnotic Music and enjoy together, psychedelic landscapes, energetic drumbeats and ecstatic atmospheres from producers around the globe.
His motivation as a DJ is to connect people true movement with each other, within themselves, and with nature. I like to mix in my journeys different styles of hypnotic music, and bring joy and happiness to the dance floor and from time to time periods of wild ecstatic textures and impulsive dark atmospheres
