"Once upon a time...." 

MAXIFUSION is telling the story of an evil king, who rules his land  with darkness and death. This is the first song of the new MaxiFusion EP, called "Once Upon A Time.. ."

Once Upon A Time

Nobody who cared verteld het verhaal van een vrouw die door pesten de zin van het leven kwijt is, zij staat op een twee sprong in het leven. Kiest zij voor de lichte kant?  of blijft ze hangen is haar duistere verleden?? 

Nobody who cared, tells the story of a woman who lost the meaning of life. She has to make her choice. Will she chooses the bright side? Or will she linger in her dark past?

Even my reflection werd geschreven naar aanleiding van de kunst / muziek wedstrijd  Artrocks in 2012.  
De schilder Magritte schilderde La réproduction interdite, en hierop werd dit nummer gebaseerd.
Dit nummer staat als derde op de EP ` Once upon a time´

Even my reflection was written in response to the art / music competition Artrocks in 2012.
The painter Magritte painted `La reproduction interdite´. It was the inspiration for Even my Reflection.

Even My Reflection

Het laatste nummer op de nieuwe EP van MaxiFusion gaat over een soldaat die aan de avond voor een grote veldslag staat. Hij vraagt zich af of hij het er levend van af gaat brengen en of hij zijn mannen zonder kleerscheuren door de stijd kan leiden. De wil om te winnen is er, maar ook de twijfel en de angst om alles wat hij kent achter zich te laten en te sterven. 

This last song on the EP is about a soldier on the eve of a great battle state. He wonders whether he will live of die. And how he can lead his men without dying. 

History Of The Amoured Man

My story will be told: goes about a young girl who died a long time ago. Her spirit 's still on the graveyard and she's says:  when you walk this graveyard to visit those you loved listen very carefully my story will be told.

Think Kate Bush or "Within Temptation-light" or "Symphonic Pop". Songs consists of a high pitch female vocalist, a down to earth drum and bass section, screaming and growling guitars and last but not least, great piano and synths.

MaxiFusion plays a brand of symphonic pop or symphonic rock which is undeniable their own. 
The contrast between raw guitar, played by our female guitarist Manon, great melodies and riffs of our man on the keys Stefan, coupled with the solid, thundering foundation of bass by Jack and drums by Francois on one side and the high-pitched, almost angel-like voice of singer Lynn on the other, creates a sound which is unique. Bombastig and melodic, yet at times emotional and fragile, that is the sound of MaxiFusion.
