Barcelona-based DJ Gamba is up next on Stay At Home Records with two soul-infused tracks. His trancey, dreamy production evokes a primal human feeling, full of pure emotion and the hope that dreams (A1. Toi Mon Rêve) can come true through beautiful sound. The tracks radiate a bright, sunny vibe (B2. Le Soleil), as if you’re dancing on an uninhabited island, surrounded by your loved ones.

Label owner Adrien Calvet pairs the split EP with a perspective of sound that is more raw and straightforward, with heavy, groovy basslines and catchy, bouncy synths. The producer continues evolving, as the general sound of his production is more trancey than his previous projects, showing a constant evolution and eagerness to break all musical boundaries.

One could say that the EP is split between the Yin and the Yang, with Adrien Calvet being the more ethereal persona and DJ Gamba the dreamer and uplifter.

Pour ce troisième épisode, je continue d’explorer ce qui me fait vibrer : du rap boom bap sur des beats épurés, où chaque kick laisse la place à des flow massifs de fils. 
Je vous propose donc une petite balade transatlantique pépouze qui démarre dans les rues de Bruxelles, fait escale en France et bien sûr aux States, tout en mêlant prods et lyrics pour un petit enchaînement de tracks sélectionnées par mes petits soins. 
Le rap féminin est bien entendu au rendez-vous, avec des rappeuses comme Heather B ou Bahamadia, et leurs placements nets qui découpent mieux que la trancheuse de ton boucher de quartier.
