Night Bass boss @acslater is back with a very special release. “Undefeated Champions” packs in three huge collaborations with some of the best in the game. Kicking off the EP is “Legit”, a massive peak time heater from AC & @WaxMotif. Up next is a new one by Slater & @Chris-Lorenzo-1 called “Giant Mouse”, with it’s catchy riff and militant bassline. “Ultra Hype”, an addictively bouncy roller from AC & @Redlight-UK, perfectly rounds out the package.

It may well be the hottest summer since records began, but there’s a storm brewing in the Southwest.

Taking us back to their underground roots, the boys from Bristol are proud to present Run Tingz Remixes Volume 3, The Amen Project. The release is a 5 track EP which showcases a old school Ragga Jungle take on some of the label’s classic licks. 

Rough and ready for the Autumn / Winter 18 club season, the release features 3 of the UK leading modern day Jungle producers in Hybrid, Aries and Selecta J-Man. Also making the cut is Mexico’s number 1 ‘mal hombre’ Isaac Maya, as well as a relatively unknown producer from the badlands of Bristol, Pete ‘P-Tay’ Mackenzie. 

First up to get the amen treatment is 2011’s ‘Bun Babylon’ - Hybrid comes through to give us his trademark take on the seminal Serial Killaz & Run Tingz Cru conscious anthem, which also marks his well overdue debut on the label. 

An undisputed veteran of UK Jungle and label regular, Aries (Chopstick Dubplate & Born on Road), collides head on with Selecta J-Man & Parly B’s ‘Roadblock’, administering a tight amen revamp of the 2014 juggernaut.

Mexican powerhouse Isaac Maya takes on 2013’s ‘Rock A Dub’ by Dossa & Deliman. After a successful run of releases on the label in 2017, he makes his return with a track that will keep even the purest of amen heads and Ragga Jungle fanatics happy.

Selecta J-Man returns the love to Aries & Gold, with an updated take on ‘My Sound’ using elements of his classic amen production which first brought him into the scene. With big basslines, relentless snare drums and the unmistakable vocals of Cowboy Ras Ranger and 2Nice, this is sure to be a hit.


Finally, and by no means least, Run Tingz are proud to introduce some exciting new talent from their hometown, Ragga Jungle producer P-Tay. Another label debutant, he starts as he means to go on by tackling the Cru’s 2013 hit ‘Crossroads’ which features the Jamaican heavyweight, Blackout J.A. This comes with a warning, P-Tay is taking no prisoners, this track can only be described a savage and your mother definitely won’t like it.

We don't know what's going on this year, but there seems to be an increase in the number of label bosses releasing their first LPs on their record labels. Having covered German producer Kapote's debut on Toy Tonics last week, his fellow countrymen M.ono is now gearing up for his own. For those who do not know, M.ono runs the label Rose Records out of Leipzig alongside his partner Luvless. Having spent the past decade putting out music that has earned the support of big names like Move-D, Moomin, Wolf Music, and DJ Koze, M.ono has decided to put together an anthology if you will - a collection of twelve tunes he's produced since 2008 titled "Spritti Moments."

One of the tunes from the release that we're sharing with you today is called "Bye Bye Butterfly." Fans of M.ono's recent work will be pleasantly surprised by this original since it doesn't necessarily resemble the disco or funk that he's come out with the past few years. Instead, this song is quite somber in mood and features a collection of breakbeats and looped samples that give off more of a future garage vibe than the house music he's generally known for. This variety in sound speaks to the many genres that inspired M.ono in his early musical career, and this LP illustrates that journey step by step.
