Our special guest on this week’s Cadenza Music Source to Cycle podcast is Just Be, the cherished British DJ & producer extraordinaire also known as Bushwacka!

Just Be may be a relatively new name amongst the pack, but for certain you could have come across the music and DJ skills of Matthew B AKA Bushwacka! over the years.  Just Be is the latest moniker for Matthew Benjamin, a DJ who cut his teeth on the London acid house circuit, and whose productions have helped shape the electronic landscape, from early works on Mr C’s Plink Plonk label as well as his own Plank and Olmeto label.  Hooking up with Layo Paskin in the late 1990s, the duo had a highly successful career as Layo & Bushwacka, as well as being the essential resident Djs at the now legendary End nightclub in London’s West End.

As Just Be, Matthew continues to release music on labels like Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical and Intec, as well as DJing around the world, with particular focus on Ibiza, where he now resides.
