For each opportunity I get to DJ, I take on the event and interpret it the best I can, to create something that can drive the necessary energy on the dancefloor... A few months ago Zac Slade approached me and asked me to do the opening set for ASTRIX, arguably the biggest progressive psy-trance act ever. My jaw dropped, and I knew I had to put forth something of my best and tried my hardest to fit the bill; groove laden psychedelia, deep and pumping progressive and minimal techno. Keep your eye on Hypnotic Events, taking psychedelic parties in Sydney to another level.

Equinox Experience 2020 was once again magical in every way. Set in a magical forest in the Matroosberg Nature Reserve and kitted with world class sound and visuals. 

Here's the live recording of my tech set at Equinox Experience 2020. Starting off with a  progressive touch and slowly morphing into some funky twisted techno before Yuli Ferstat's set.  

NB: the set was recorded in MONO accidentally incase any audiophiles pick it up .

Not so long ago, radiOzora was connecting homes for the 2nd time. Here is DIGITAL COMMITTEE's set that he recorded for this special event.

Digital Committee originally emerged as a joint project by Sébastian Atoch and Yann Khatchadourian, a French-Canadian duo who started playing together in 2010. It has been under the solo command of Yann since 2018 and remains driven by his European influences and passion for electronic music. He has created a unique, rich and melodic sound which always leaves an indelible mark on listeners at festivals and events. The techno and progressive sounds that set Digital Committee apart creates an energetic and contagious vibe on the dance floor.

RAW SESSIONS are all about Proper Underground Vibes. In one of the worlds most isolated cities; Perth AU we have a completely underground outdoor Party Scene. Something that is rarer in most parts of the country and around the world. We don't take it for granted, we relish in it. 

The RAW Sessions will be a good look into the smaller more intimate gatherings. Whilst I do love and miss the big festival gigs, the underground scene is the heartland and often the source of great inspiration.

I'll set the scene .. It's Sunday afternoon at the end of a long, freezing cold and wet weekend in the Bush copping some pretty rough weather. Attendance wasn't massive but the crew that were there were committed to the party. I'm closing the Funktion One stage after a big day of PsyTrance (Hence the intro). Everyone is a little shabby but the veterans are still here.

One-half of the duo Miles From Mars, Maximilian has been on the scene since 2008.

Single-handedly pioneering the psytech sound in South Africa with his infamous Into the Wild and With You Festival events going back to 2016.

Playing all major festivals in South Africa, he has now begun his journey abroad playing Ozora Festival in Hungary, Modem Festival in Croatia, New-Healing in Germany, Son Libre in France, Mind Boggling Tunes in London, just to name a few.

With a passionate approach to dj-ing backed up by over a decade of production experience, his sets include many of his own tracks alongside a careful selection of his other influences, creating uniquely blended sets, you will never hear a second time.
