"Veil of Sorrow" is a haunting melodic house track, where a distorted arpeggio intertwines with a melancholic piano melody and filtered drums. The song was composed on a cloudy day, while sitting on the balcony of a secluded house in the middle of nowhere, accessible only by a dirt road. Inspired by the view of the ocean, the waves, and the pine trees swaying in the wind, the track captures the loneliness and introspection of that moment, enveloping the listener in an atmosphere of deep sadness and serene beauty.

Julian Wassermann steps up to the SVT plate with an immersive four track effort that showcases his knack for deep tech melodies. A minimal bassline and synths straight from the depths of space lay the groundwork for Alpha, the kickoff into the EP. A subtle yet effective mood-setter, it makes for a great inaugural cut as the release unfolds. Title piece Aurea calmly follows, looming in with tribal infused percussion and lush, effusive vocals. Garnering an equally atmospheric mood, Wassermann aptly combines airy pads and dark synths into an immensely polarizing cut. People Are Strange dives in on a more dynamic note, centered around a solid bassline with alternating synth lines. Swiftly morphing into an energetic banger via punchy bass and ghostly vocal chops, the construction carries major peak time appeal. For the final contribution Imperia, Wassermann calls on the production skills of fellow Muenchener H.B.C. to create a radiant piece of spacious tech. Layering modular strobes and arpeggiated synths, their production styles merge harmoniously, resulting in a dancefloor-ready strapping groove.

Exclusive Active Child 'Johnny Belinda (MDK Remix)'

Active Child's tune 'Johnny Belinda' gets the remix treatment from Dutch electronic music legend Matthew Dekay The producer has been responsible for one of Innervisions' biggest hits, 'Lost In A Moment', and also produced the groundbreaking EP 'Amity' including the summer hit 'Fangtango' on Maeve. With his remix for Active Child's track 'Johnny Belinda' Dekay once again proves his ability to turn an original track into his own piece of work. Melodic melancholic synth chords shape the body of MDK's remix approach and are set with a reserved bass line that fully unfolds its punch as the remix proceeds. But it certainly is the vocal that puts its mark on the track and Dekay manages to make the interaction between the vocals and soundscapes sound so easy. 

Active Child's EP 'Johnny Belinda Remixes' will be released April 30th, 2018 on Subtract Music.

blaktone is back to Sincopat after their successful appearance in our BeenTouched series. Kepler Effect is the name of the EP including three original tracks by the talented duo from St. Petersburgh plus a solid by remix by techno heroes Teenage Mutants.
The opening track 'Definition of Love' is a crazy and organic burner that will leave the club completely devastated. It is a non-stop track where the sinister items and the hypnotic mood are presented in a perfect balance. Teenage Mutants takes the track to their perspective and offer another win that proves the talent of this German duo.'Uma I' is also a huge bomb for the dancefloor with the surprising synth after the breakdown. Berlin-based Electro/Pop duo Yeah But No announce the release of the latest addition to "Demons Remixes", a series of carefully chosen remixes accompanying their sophomore album "Demons".

Yeah But No is comprised of Douglas Greed and Fabian Kuss. Merging electronic music with classic song structures into a smart and captivating listening enjoyment is the band's objective ever since they started collaborating. 

Being on the road constantly, Yeah But No have shaped and redefined their musical vision of the band. Dealing with inner and outer conflicts and contrarieties, "Demons" is a slightly darker and more mature piece of music than the bands previous releases. 

Following the two marvelous works by Mollono.Bass and Andreas Henneberg, now Berlin/Rotterdam-based DJ, producer and owner of House/Techno-label AEON, Alex Niggemann, gets involved. He transfers the bands recent Single "Run Run Run" into a dark and hypnotising Melodic House track. 

As classically trained pianist, and a tireless character in the world of electronic music, Alex Niggemann is used to change perspective, und crossing musical boarders. Always embracing the new and constantly pushing boundaries of the music he loves so much, and updating it for the future.
