Berlin-based producer Kaufmann unveils her powerful new single “Mother” on VOLTA Records. This evocative release is accompanied by two standout remixes from Tao Andra and Mila Journeé, each bringing a distinct vibe to the energetic original.

“The vocal is undoubtedly at the centre of the track,” Kaufmann explains. “I took inspiration from a well-known System of a Down track and placed the mother at the heart of the story. It's actually my own voice, which I processed with AI, among other tools. I wanted to combine the energies of my favourite genres: techno with some psy and a pinch of metal."

Tao Andra’s remix takes the track into hypnotic, tribal-influenced techno terrain, while Mila Journeé lends her signature melodic touch with a cinematic, driving reinterpretation.

“This is my second time releasing with VOLTA Records,” says Mila Journeé. “The first was a two-track EP that did really well, and now I'm back with a remix of a really cool track by Kaufmann, at the invitation of Victor, a great friend and production partner who I love working with. So it's all about good music, friendship and good vibes!”

Ich bin Heilpädagogin mit Leib und Seele.

Auflegen ist für mich nur ein Hobby in den eigenen vier Wänden und dient lediglich, um zusätzlich auf mein Herzensprojekt: www.hope-community.club, 
aufmerksam zu machen.

Ich habe 12 Jahre im pädagogischen Bereich gearbeitet und am Ende Kinder mit Handicap und deren Eltern betreuen dürfen.   

Ich besitze einen Hund, mit den ich ehrenamtlich Menschen mit Behinderung ein wenig Lebensfreude geschenkt habe.

Um Erfahrung zu sammeln, habe ich nach meiner Weiterbildung zur Heilpädagogin, in unterschiedlichen Einrichtungen für Menschen mit Handicap gearbeitet. 

Da ich diesen Job mit Herzblut mache, und mir die Bedürfnisse der Patienten & Klienten wichtig sind, habe ich mit den meisten während meiner Arbeit Gespräche geführt. 

Ich wollte erfahren,  was diese Menschen beschäftigt,  welche Wünsche & Bedürfnisse sie haben und vor allem, woran es liegt, weshalb sie sich diese oftmals nicht erfüllen können.
