Kimba is a fresh faced new kid on the block. He began his musical journey in late 2016, daring to dream, he followed his musical passion and began his quest crafting unique, groove oriented  House music not limiting himself to one specific genre. 


Despite being able to DJ from an early age he realised early on that he has to become known as a producer if he is to make it in the industry. Driven by passion, love of house music and a hard working ethic, Kimba has locked himself in his studio from the start building up an ever growing repertoire of unreleased music. 


At a stripped back glance, Kimba is a purist, someone who cares solely about the music  and the experiences he believes it can bring to people on the dancefloor. 


Showing consistency Kimba has grown into his sound, with an ever growing interest from reputable labels he is now ready to take the scene by storm and flourish in to a highly accomplished producer and DJ.

Precision kicks, pitter-patter effects and an escalating melody are joined by a spoken word sample in the bouncy ‘SMML’, before moving into ‘turboshandy’ with its springy bassline, lively synth stabs and heady pitched up vox. A regular of Australia’s thriving musical circuit, Kane Dignum aka Little Fritter makes his debut on Hot Creations with Dub Riddem. The EP continues an impressive 2020, that has seen the Gold Coast native’s standout productions land on the likes of Desert Hearts and etcetc already this year.

Those aforementioned features are present right from the offset, as Dub Riddem leads proceedings. A reverberating vocal keeps us hooked, before hard-hitting drums combine with a shimmering cow-bell lead to form a real dancefloor weapon. Puff Puff comes next, with prominent kicks giving way to a chuggy, up-and-down bassline, whilst lyrical samples echo in the background to create a choppy, groove-lead atmosphere. How Lucky Should We Feel? rounds things off in a similarly club-ready vein, merging resonant vocal cuts with punchy drum patterns and bringing shimmering hi-hats in tow.

Little Fritter has been a regular on the electronic music circuit for more than a decade. Having had his first release back in 2008, few artists have stayed as relevant and cutting-edge as the Gold Coast mainstay. Performances at Berlin’s Club De Visionaire and Barcelona’s Off-Sonar cemented his reputation as a respected prospect in the scene.
