Max, I really like the big band feel of this. The jazzy mood is a refreshing change from my folk filled life. Your lyrics are good and also made me think. Cool!

Wow - awesome!  Love the jazz - great choice for the lyrics.  Your melody really holds my attention.  These lyrics are great - really like: feet don't fail me now.

It’s like Ben Folds and James Taylor collaborated on a jazzy number, but it’s all Max Cunningham. Good Lord, this is wonderfully, playfully delicious.

That was a very cool change of pace - nicely done sir!

I feel like I may preface too many songs this way, but here goes...

Guess I was in a jazzy mood this time around. I have to thank the old, out of tune, upright piano that's been chilling in the living room for being so inspiring. 

What's it all about? Dunno. Introversion? Quit being a racist asshole? The plight of urban vampires? Sure, why not...

SIDEWALK

On the sidewalk, the side on which you walk has so much to say. Eyes cast down, straight line, no sound, and a bit of shame. 

But when the lights go down, so much easier blending in and out. In the shadows there's no color. With no color there's no "other", and I finally feel fine. Feet don't fail me now. On the sidewalk.
