Ravanelli Disco Club gear up for Spring with an EP of fresh dancefloor nuggets from the dynamic duo FRR Fonk.

Two upfront House grooves laden with elastic funk fueled bass and some superb keys and synth work ready for prime time party moments. On remix duty Tilman takes it up a notch and delivers a superb version of Basement to round things off.

The result of an evening messing around with an old E-mu SP-12, sampling old demos and creating loops, Jupiter II is a nod to the classic French House tracks we grew up with and bonded over when we first started hanging out and making music together.

It's all disco beats, warm synth chords and cut-up guitars, laid over a pounding 909 and Martin's incredible one-take bass line, slammed though a bunch of filters and compressors.

It was a bunch of fun to make, and we hope you enjoy!

Some grooves never let you go. For Phil Fuldner, the bassline from El Coco’s 1987 Afrodesia has been following him around for nearly three decades. You might have already heard the original, but this special 12" mix is something only the deepest diggers know - and thanks to his friend Dan Dinsing, Phil finally got his hands on it again.
A first sketch came together fast and got a bigger reaction than expected, but the road from idea to release took three years - mostly to make that all-important sample clearance a reality. Mousse T. was the very first to hear it (in a super-early state) and kept encouraging Phil to finish the job, throwing in the occasional gentle kick to keep it on track.
Now Afrodesia is here at last - a sun-soaked, disco-powered floorfiller that blends nostalgia with fresh energy. Long build-up, quick delivery… and absolutely worth the wait.
