I had been lying around quite sick that day, but here is the proof that music has healing powers. Thanks to the escalating and cheering crowd for your energy. Was war das denn schon wieder für ein verrückter Festival Sommer, dankeee an alle Beteiligten🤪💚

Zum Abschluss gibt's die Aufnahme vom TARMAC Festival - war das schön verspult, definitiv ein Sommer Highlight.
Perfekt ist die Aufnahme bestimmt nicht, aber wer ist das schon Sonntag früh um 7.

Danke an die stabile Croud, ich hatte maximalen Spaß.

Socken mit Latschen, Kappe schief auf dem Kopf. Ob im Bademantel oder mit Discokugel - Überhaupt & Außerdem (@ueberhaupt_ausserdem) haben die Downtempo-Bubble mit ihrem ganzen eigenen Flavor versetzt. Der kommt vor allem in nasty, mit einer Note von Lässigkeit und wird abgerundet mit einer Foundation aus fetten Basslines. Also einmal einsteigen bitte, wenn unser Traumcast diesen Monaten von Edit-Promenaden über brennende techhouse Highways in den Sonnenuntergang düst. Anschnallen braucht ihr euch aber nicht bei dieser Achterbahnfahrt: jeder Drop fängt euch mit seinen geladen Grooves auf und nimmt euch mit auf die nächste Runde. Sonnenbrille auf und laufen lassen!

🦊 Wenn ihr ein Superheld wärt, welche besondere Power hättet ihr am liebsten?
(Andi) Morgens um 7 Uhr aufstehen und keinen Kaffe brauchen.


🦊 Wie entscheidet ihr was ihr auflegt, bereitet ihr Sets vor?
(Philipp) Kommt immer ein bisschen drauf an. Generell denke ich sehr viel über das Setting nach, was davor und danach passiert und wie man die Reiseleitung angeht. Nachts oder Früh (bis sehr früh). Heiter oder Gaga. Ich versuch mir das aber ein bisschen abzugewöhnen und mehr auch mal laufen zu lasssen :) 


🦊 Wie kamt ihr zum Musik machen? 
(Andi) Ich hab mit 13 die Xbox gegen ne’n 30€ e-Bass von Ebay getauscht, bester Tausch ever!
(Philipp) Mein Dad ist Orgelbauer (der Synthi des Altertums!) und quasi die gesamte Sippe singt im Chor. Da gabs keine Auswegen aus der Nummer :)


🦊 Was war euer schönster Festival Moment 2023? 
(Andi und Philipp): Für uns beide ein ganz großer Höhepunkt war Stimming live auf der Fusion. Wollte ich schon immer mal hören und, was soll ich sagen, wir waren in Dauertrance. 🧡

🦊 Worüber grübelt ihr, wenn ihr nachts aufwacht oder nicht schlafen könnt?
(Philipp) Man liegt und wälzt sich und schwitzt und denkt: Sitzt die Kick, wo sie muss? Muss ich den Bass noch mehr cranken? Ist die Hihat auch WIRKLICH crisp? Sachen ausm Leben.

Blue hangover-cats can purr with a unique gentleness, but you gotta keep them in check. Because when blue hangovers-cats leap over the acid arc (Acidbogen), they turn into blue panthers in the universe, trying to paint the melodies of the stars in blue. So, stroke your blue buddy, and keep painting. Keep painting on.

Stell dir vor, du wachst mit einem Blau-Kater auf: Alles in einem blauen Wirbel, weil du gestern Nacht beschlossen hast, dass Blau die Antwort auf alles sei. Blau-Kater können mit einer besonderen Sanftheit schnurren, aber du musst ihn im Zaum halten. Da ist für mich ein kleiner Traum in Erfüllung gegangen. Ich kann gar nicht sagen wie aufgeregt ich war und gleichzeitig habe ich mich so sehr gefreut, dass ich schon Tage vorher nicht mehr richtig schlafen konnte. Die Sonne hat alles gegeben beim Gig, es waren unglaublich viele Freunde da - das hat den Gig für mich noch einmal mehr besonders für mich gemacht.

This is my set from Tarmac Festival 2024, Outer Rim stage, Sunday afternoon. It felt like a Desert Sunday, scorching hot, and we had to keep cool with water sprays to keep the dance energy alive! 🔥💦 Playing on my favorite floor at Tarmac was a honor—thank you to everyone who braved the heat and danced with me.

🎵 Max Marlon [ at ] 11 Jahre Station Endlos [ Live-Special ] 🎵

It's been over 3 years since Max Marlon (a total unknown to me at the time) was a guest on our podcast series. The mix back then was already top notch and peppered with a number of dark and bouncy tracks (https://soundcloud.com/afterhour-sounds/max-marlon-presents-afterhour-sounds-podcast-nr-217). Yes, there were times just before the official bounce tempo. 

Well, a lot of water has flowed down the Spree since then. Max has made a name for himself as a DJ in the scene and is certainly known far beyond the borders of Germany. Among other things, he curates his own podcast series Auf Achse (https://soundcloud.com/aufachsee).

We also think he's a wonderful DJ (yes, we booked him once and were incredulous when he started a backspin during his set <3 ). We think words are superfluous given his perfectionism and exclusive track selection. The same goes for his recording from the Endless station. Just wow. Thank you Max.

✔️ What is your musical background and influences?
I grew up listening to my dad's rock. After a Kalkbrenner concert when I was 14, everything was clear - I bought my first records, explored Berlin's nightlife and soon started playing techno.
When I joined RummelsBucht, my music slowed down, although my love for minimal techno with psy elements never stopped and now, as you can hear in the recording, I love to rock again - all BPMs are beautiful!
