This is my *favourite* of *all* my playlists.  It's essentially made of ignored music, kinda like leftovers, and like with food, some of it gets even better when reheated.

[I realize that what I'm about to express is rash, and that it may well be that my jugement in music is poor.  This could be because I lack the listening experience, therefore missing some of the necessary data to make valuable contribution.  For example perhaps most of these pieces of music are bad copies of older ones that I have never heard.  Yes that is always a possiblity.  If that is the case I apologize, again--getting tired of this--, and please let me know.  I thank you in advance.

I could have called this playlist "WTFU", I think the expression exists already.  I don't have time right now to see what it means, but in my case it means Wake The Fuck Up.  If it already exists, I'm sure it's in the armed forces of some or all countries of the world.

(I'm calling it a mean name because I'm pissed.  The reason for me being slightly irritated--see I've already toned it down--is that these tracks have been out for months, and they are marvels of beauty and craftsmanship, and they have gotten so few plays compare to other ones not half as good, not as original, not as alive, not done with real care and love, etc.)

OK, Here we go, I'm a little pissed because I think I just realized that just about no one listens to the content of the playlists.  They appear to be some kind of marketing gimmick only I guess.  Since I am not absolutely certain of what I advance I will simply ignore it temporarily, and pretend that someone will listen to the music eventually.  This playlist will be public forever.  I swear it.

Oh, yes, one last thing.  If any of you who can read this cares, I welcome any and all comments about things I have did or said wrong.  I always welcome the opportunity to rectify anything that is wrong in what I do, say, or write.  (Yep, I'm old, I'm allowed to have such old fashion notions.)  I don't do that to be good, to be moral.  It's to survive in a way that is not too uncomfortable all the time.

Ok, I remembered: aren't there people in this "business" who's job it is to spot good obscure stuff?  Were are they, these people?  I think they call them "scouts" maybe, ... I don't know much about that stuff so I will stop here.  I would not want to offend anyone.  I just feel bad about these tracks, like plants that will die if you don't water them.  I'm sensitive that way.

Spontaneously, I would say poetry and literature. It’s been a big part of my life and my academic studies. There are times when I read less, but I always have a book in progress. I recently came across a Quebec masterpiece, “Il pleuvait des oiseaux” by Jocelyne Saucier, an outstanding writer!

J’écoute vraiment de tout, ça dépend de l’humeur, de la saison. Mais si je devais définir ce que j’écoute le plus en dehors du studio ou des dance floors, je dirais en vrac, Reggae Dub (High Tone, Zenzile, Easy Star All Star), Stoner & Psychedelic Rock, Gypsy Jazz, Ambient (Mars Lazar), Jazz-hop/Boom-Bap (Eric Truffaz, Guru), Vienna Dub (Tosca), Psydub (Schulman) et mention spéciale pour l’album « Simple Things » de Zero7. 

Plus récemment j’écoute en boucle les émissions « Balance Show » (Spacewalker) et « My Favorite Things » (Psycut) de Music Is My Sanctuary : un joyeux mélange de jazz, soul, hip-hop, etc.

I want to make people smile and let go for a while. To achieve this, I choose (or create) friendly and bouncy, sunny songs. Or on the contrary, I like to go for evil and completely trippy sound design, to make the brain twist. With the right sound system, it ends up having the same effect!

Honnêtement, peu importe le DJ booth tant que j’ai de quoi jouer des morceaux en digital et mes disques vinyle. Par contre le lieu importe beaucoup pour moi. J’ai envie de retrouver cette ambiance unique qui caractérise les fêtes libres en extérieur. Un gros volume, les pieds dans le sable à côté d’une rivière, taper du pied sur un champ de cailloux, dans la forêt, ou encore sous un pont d’autoroute, je vous laisse imaginer!

I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone and back to my first love, sound system tekno. Can’t wait for a big purring wall to really find out how this composition sounds!

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
