“Let’s Go Back” sets the stage for a collaboration between The New Mastersounds and vocalist Lamar Williams Jr. Composed during a late night writing session in Atlanta, the song draws influence from Lee Dorsey grooves while giving nods to The Meters with a hearty pocket. Lyrically, the tune is a testament to it never being too late to go back and “make things good again.” This feel-good track is the first single off of Shake It to be released on Color Red on September 13, 2019.

After releasing an acclaimed trilogy of EPs, Astrocolor returns in 2020 with singles “Renegade,” and “Laughter” from their forthcoming album Hue. “Renegade” is a banging old school rave anthem, featuring the legendary Renegade Master sample made famous in the '90s by hip hop artist A.D.O.R. “Laughter” uses an equally iconic Stax Records sample of the 1964 recording “After Laughter (Comes Tears)” by Wendy Rene, newly situated atop an original Astrocolor jam featuring a deep Latin groove.
